Prologue

Nicky Parsons made her way through the crowded streets of Rome, Italy. She knew what she had to do, but it wouldn't be easy.

Nicky hid in the crowds of people, as to not be seen by the police that were trying to find her, because she had hacked into their system containing their very important and top secret files.

She just had to find him before it was too late. Her fifteen year old daughter was in grave danger, and he was the only one who could save her.

Nicky made it to the building she had been searching for. It was a rundown place, hidden on the outskirts of Rome. She could already hear the sounds of fighting and people shouting, cheering them on.

This was it.

She quickly opened the door and rushed in. It smelled of mold, blood and sweat, the walls looked as though they were hardly holding together. It was a very big room, though. There were big crates everywhere, and Nicky saw the area where the fights were happening.

There were a few lights shining down on that certain spot, right in the middle of the room. There, Nicky saw who she had come for.

She snuck up to the crowd of people circling the fighting rink. They were all shouting, some held money in their hands from placing bets.

His back was to her, but she knew who it was. Nicky waited for him to finally turn around after defeating his opponent with one punch.

He seemed surprised to see her there, but Nicky knew he'd come and speak to her, so she left the crowd and went to hide behind one of the big crates. Seconds later, he came. "What are you doing here?" He asked with concern in his voice.

"Jason, it's my daughter," Nicky told him, he could see desperation in her eyes.

He hadn't known she even had a daughter, but he'd do anything to help her. "This isn't the place to talk," he said in hushed tones, he checked behind him before continuing. "Meet me at the Mouth of Truth in one hour."

Nicky looked down, but nodded in response before hesitantly leaving.
