Prologue
Death is inevitable,
No matter how hard we try to run away from it,
It will catch us,
No matter how hard we try to hide from it,
It will find us,
No matter how hard we try to escape it,
The sad truth is we could never escape it.
We live to die,
We meet to say goodbye,
We see because one day we would go blind,
We hear because one day we would go deaf,
We talk because one day we would go mute,
We feel because one day our sense would go numb,
We seek the company of many because one day the company we would only have is loneliness,
We become happy because one day we’d feel all the sorrow there is present in this world
This is the irony of life
And yet, we still hope,
Hope for another life,
And hopefully in that other life I could finally make you stay so that I don’t have to say you were
THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY…
