Part 14

ALEX's POV

I have been sitting in the car playing my phone for hours now and Jason hasn't spoken a word to me yet about what happened at home so I decided to ask. "Jason who were those people who were after you" I ask softly he sighs glancing at me. "Someone who doesn't exactly like me and think your my weakness" he says not taking his eyes off the road.

"Jason that doesn't really narrow it down I didn't like you for a while there either, who specifically" I ask. He just shrugs mumbling an answer but I couldn't hear him. "Jason who" I ask "my father okay he's after me..us..you" Jason sighs running a hand through his hair.

I remember something Gabe told me about Jason's father. Jason's father made him do unspeakable things, turned good, sweet, Jason into evil Jason, just to prove he was a man. I look over at Jason "what does he want with me" I ask faintly "he thinks that no man has a weakness he wants to kill you" he says I gasp softly looking down.

"Why would he think I'm your weakness we spent five months apart and when we were together you had a different girl in your bed each night" I cross my arms. "That's because there was never a consistent girl I never slept with the same girl twice unless what she had to offer was really good" he says with a smirk I just roll my eyes.

"How does this involve me we never did anything consensual except for that time at the night club and it didn't mean anything though I was drunk and you were on a job and obviously horny as always" I shrug.

"He thinks your my weakness because your the only girl I've wanted to tear to shreds leaving you so you couldn't walk the next day but didn't I watched you took notes about your every breath protected you from any bad for five years then I did it again for another five months made sure my enemies never even thought about you" he sighs driving.

"I never asked you to do that" I mumble softly "you didn't have to I'm infatuated with you" he smiles at me. "You mean were" I look out the window "excuse me" he says "you used it as a present tense you meant to use it as past tense" I reply.

"Is that what you think that I'm not madly in love with you" he asks "you don't do the things you've done to me when you love someone Jason" I defend myself getting a bit frustrated. "I had no other choice" he shouts "really that's what your going with" I shout back.

"Your brothers wouldn't let me near you" he defends. "Probably because they knew you were watching me I heard them talk about a boy who seemed interested in me while we were at the racing tracts and at jobs that was you I never got it until now" I softly.

Jason takes a deep breath before starting a sentence "Well my father connected the dots as well and now is after you because he's convinced your my weakness." "Well just tell him I'm not" I snap "he won't believe me" Jason groans. "Why not it's the truth" I exclaim "but what if it's not" he says softly.

We drive past a sign that says Canada in big letters. I glance at him "well I'm sorry" I mumble as he drives "I'm not" he says softly grabbing my hand only for me to pull it away. "I'm sorry you got caught up in the danger and my enemy's but I'm not sorry that I get to spend time with you" he says smiling.

We stop at some barbecue place I'm not exactly sure where but we're here and we both head in. Jason lead the way and my stomach was practically growling as the smells from the restaurant filled my noes.

A waiter with big boobs, blond hair and short shorts that leaves nothing to imagination at least I could say my ass was better than hers. That fact alone made me smile "what can I get for you cutie pie" she says in a high pitch voiced, now naturally I just wait my turn until the lady gets done talking to Jason but as Jason goes to answer she cuts him off.

"Actually I was talking to this little sexy thing over here" she says gesturing to me and I practically die. "Wait wow you find her more attractive then me" Jason asks she gives him a long look. "I don't find one thing attractive about you hun her on the other hand I watched her walk in and I can't wait to see her walk out" she bit her lip and I knew I was blushing.

Jason took a picture of me and I glared at him "what was that for" I ask "I want to show your brother your face" he chuckles and I blush more putting my face in my hands. "Don't worry doll I think you have a cute face" she says and I blush even more if that's possible.

"I'm into guys I'm sorry" I blush looking down she grabs my chin having me look up at her. "That's never stopped me from getting what I wanted before doll" she says winking at me and my eyes go wide Jason bursts out laughing and I blush hard.

We soon order what we want and she of course brings it to us I thank her and she gives me a compliment completely ignoring Jason. I don't think he liked it much but that was okay with me as we eat she keeps stopping in making sure everything was alright let me tell you the food was delicious.

When we were about to leave the girl gave me a whistle making me blush hard. Jason grabs my hand gently guiding me out considering I was nearly frozen in shock. When we get outside I run back in because I forgot me phone Jason offers to get it but I tell him it's fine and he gets in the car as I run back in.

I grab it; it was sitting face down on the table just where I left it. I avoid that girl on the way out making it safely outside only to have two arms around my waist pull me to the side of the restaurant. I gasp pulling away and squirming until I'm slammed against the building groaning out.

The guy who held me there was significantly bigger then me as he stays pinned on me. "Let me go" I squirm trying to get away I hadn't noticed he was undoing his belt buckle until I felt him on my jeans. I squirmed more struggling to get away "help me" I shouted only to get punched in the face that not going to lie left my head spinning.

"Put her down" Jason's voice sounded so strong and confident almost scary I had to look over to make sure I wasn't mistaken. There he was clearer than day with his gun pointed to the man he wouldn't shoot him would he. Jason takes a shot missing the guy by an inch "that's a warning now put her down" Jason growls.

The guy drops me and I instantly move away hurrying and buckling my jeans. "Good I didn't want your blood all over her" he smirks cocking his gun "Jason don't" I panic going over to him trying to stand in his way.

"Move Alex now" he growls but I shake my head cupping his face. His attention was still on the guy "Jason look at me" I whisper softly but I wasn't catching his attention. "Jason McCann look at me now" I demand grabbing his hair forcing him to look at me. "You can't start killing people now if you do your father will find us for sure please don't get us caught" I whimper softly hugging him.

He sighs kissing the side of my head "fine I won't" he mumbles in my hair but then pressing me to his one side so he could see the guy. The guy had already ran off "let's just go okay Jason" I look up at him with pleading eyes he nodded. "Okay let's go" he takes me to the car and he drives away I cover up with the blanket lying my seat back I lay on my side watching him.

Yes I get its kind of creepy just watching some one but I loved the way his body was. The way he flexed his arms while driving or the way he clenches his jaw when he's frustrated. The way I'm able to calm him down this was all new to me and apparently it was new to him because he seemed shocked that he let the guy get away.
