The noodles slurp into my mouth with a loud noise, them being the first lot of food I've had in twelve hours. We've been hunting a Rougarou for Crowley, apart of the whole demon deal. We've been working for Crowley for around three weeks now. And as much as I hate every part of it, I know that this is our best option at getting Sam his soul back. He's dropped his 'Sam' facade now, explaining to us that he feels nothing at all, not even for Dean or I. But he believes that even though not having a soul has made him a better hunter, having it back is something that he really needs.
The guys are off delivering the creature while Dean insisted I come back here and rest. I bring the bowl of steamy noodle soup over towards the dining table and take a seat as I begin to eat. I reach for one of the books on the table, beginning to read it. A few minutes pass by when I hear a noise coming from outside. I look towards the door, my eyebrows furrowed as I wait to hear it again. The noise happens again and I wipe at my mouth as I get to my feet, pulling out my gun.
Slowly I stalk towards the door, my feet barely making a sound as I go. My fingertips brush the curtains out of the way of the window beside the door in the old, shabby cabin but my eyes don't take in anything outside. I let the curtains fall back into place, but my eyebrows remain drawn together as a feeling of uneasiness comes over me. Something doesn't feel right, a sense of déjà vu coming over me.
I take a step back and run into something hard. I turn quickly and push the person back, their charcoal black eyes glowering at me. They make a rush for me and I dodge them, gripping their wrist and pinning it behind their back as I push them towards the door. Making a run for the bedroom, I know we have holy water and salt in the there. But another demon blocks my path, their eyes alight with a sinister smirk on their faces.
I aim my gun towards them and let out a shot, it hitting them in the chest. I quickly turn and make a run for the back door, throwing it open when another male demon stands there. My heat pounds in my chest and I stumble back, feeling fear take over me. I'm suddenly grabbed at from behind, my arms pinned behind my back causing the gun to fall from my hands. I fight as hard as I can to break out of their hold, but there's no use seeing as they're twice my size.
"I gotta say, I thought you'd but up more of a fight Addison."
I freeze at the sound of her voice, my heart stopping and my body freezing up. The male demon walks in, soon followed by a small petite woman, her eyes shining as she smiles at me. Meg tilts her head to side, her eyes gazing over me, "Happy to see me?"
Memories from so long ago come rushing back and I can't help but begin to panic, feeling as if my worst nightmare is about to happen all over again. She walks forward and looks around, "Nice little place you got here, very hunter's shiek."
I feel myself begin to shake ever so slightly, gripped with anxiety and fear which causes her to raise her eyebrow at me, "Are you shaking? You're terrified aren't you?"
I don't say anything and she walks forward, the knife that she stole from us so long ago in her hand as she fiddles with it, "Last time we met, you were so badass and now you're like a small puppy. Now the question is, why?"
She comes to a stop in front of me, her eyes looking in mine as I try to remain strong. She leans forward towards me and I turn my head away from her. She stop inches away from me and takes a big whiff and I squeeze my eyes shut, my hands balling into fists.
"Well, well, well," She says, pulling back with a wide smile on her face, "I guess that explains everything. You smell different, almost sweeter in a way. You're pregnant."
I glare at her and she chuckles, "Man, this must bring back some memories for you. I gotta say, it was a fun time for me. But I'm guessing not so much for you."
