One Week Later
Music softly plays in the cabin as I finish making myself a salad, the safest option for me to eat at the moment. A lot has been discovered over these past few days, making things that much more complicated. Dick has apparently acquired a company called SucroCorp that makes high fructose corn syrup, which is in most foods made these days. To avoid it, we've had to stick towards mostly eating fresh fruits and vegetables, much to Dean's annoyance.
Bobby also reappeared to us, explaining his ideas at how we could acquire the rest of the blood for the weapon. In this, he said we should summon Crowley and ask him. We he arrived and we explained everything to him, he said he would only give us his vile of blood once all the others were acquired. However, he also gave us the location of the last living Alpha, the vampire alpha.
Dean and Sam tracked him down and were tricked by someone they believed to be his hostage. He was intent on killing them, but when they saved him from a Leviathan attack he gave them his blood in return. When they arrived back at their hotel, they discovered that Bobby's flask was gone, assuming he took it. This puts an obstacle in our plan due to his instability, our fear of what he might do. Now, the guys are currently on their way home, retrieving the bone of a righteous person.
I finish preparing the food and make my way over towards the couch, taking a seat and flicking on the TV. Mary is sitting quietly in her bouncer, just looking around as she lays there. She's been so well behaved, it's hard to believe. She's a fairly good sleeper and an even better feeder. Now that my milk has come in, she eats so well.
I begin to eat my food, finding that I'm actually starving. I stare at the TV, not really taking anything in. My eyes droop slightly and I let out a loud yawn, knowing I'm definitely gonna need a nap when Mary goes to sleep. All of a sudden, I hear the sound of a car pulling up and I smile, looking over Mary, "Daddy's home."
I hear the car doors open and close, as well as the trunk before the door opens. Sam comes in first and smiles when he takes me in, "Hey."
"Hey." I say, putting my feet off the table and sitting up.
Dean comes in behind him and calls out to me, "Hey baby."
Sam walks over and kneels down beside the bouncer, "Hey Mary, how're you gorgeous?"
He reaches down and picks her up, giving her a cuddle and I smile at the sight, "She's good. She's just had a feed and her diaper changed, probably about ready for her to take a nap."
"Hey, give me my baby." Dean says, walking over to his brother.
Sam hands the baby over to him and I quickly speak, "Be careful of her stomach, her umbilical cord is a bit sensitive."
"It hasn't come off yet?" Dean asks and I shake my head, "No, but I think it probably will in the next day or so."
Dean nestles her into his arm and smiles down at her, "Hey baby girl. I missed you."
My heart swells at the sight and Sam walks over to the fridge, grabbing himself some food and I look between them, "So you got everything now?"
Sam nods as he straightens up, taking a bite out of a red apple, "Yeah, now all we need is Crowley's blood."
I scoff and shake my head, "Yeah, cause that's not gonna be without any conitations."
