His hard gaze fills fear in my heart, him being nothing like the angel I called my family. Power and intimidation exude off of him and I'm afraid for my life, for all of our lives.
"Well, all right then." Bobby says, breaking the silence as he kneels down to the ground, "Is this good or you want the whole forehead to the carpet thing?"
I look to him with wide eyes and he turns to us, "Guys." Holding onto Sam, we exchange a look before we begin to go to our knees.
"Stop." Castiel commands and I freeze mid kneel, looking over to him, "What's the point if you don't mean it? You fear me. Not love, not respect. Just fear."
Sam steps forward unsteadily and I grip onto his arm, keeping him up right as he looks to the angel, "Cas-"
"Sam, you have nothing to say to me. You stabbed me in the back." He says, looking towards him.
"Get up." He instructs, looking to Bobby who rises to his feet.
"Cas, come on. This is not you." I whisper, drawing his attention.
"The Castiel you knew is gone." He says and I shake my head at him, "So what then? Kill us?"
"What a brave little ant you are." He says, the side of his mouth turning up, "You know you're powerless. You wouldn't dare move against me again, that would be pointless. So I have no need to kill you. Not now."
He turns looks around at the the rest of us as Sam really leans into my side, his weight nearly fully on me, "Besides, once, you were my favourite pets before you turned and bit me."
I look at Sam worried, seeing his face palling considerably. His breathing is becoming heavier and he looks like he's going to pass out at any moment.
"Who are you?" Dean asks and Castiel turns to face him, "I'm God. And of you stay in your place, you may live in my kingdom. If you rise up, I will strike you down."
"Not doing so well, are you Sam?" He asks, looking towards my brother in law.
"I'm fine." He says and I know he's lying.
"You said you'd fix him. You promised!" Dean says, raising his voice.
"If you stood down, which you hardly did." Castiel says before turning to Sam, "Be thankful for my mercy. I could have cast you back to the pit."
"Cas, come on. This is nuts." Dean says, trying to reason with him, "You can turn this around, please."
"I hope for your sake this is the last you see me." He threatens before disappearing before our eyes.
Sam lets out a cough from beside me and I turn to see blood trickling out of his nose.
"Sam, you okay?" I whisper, holding onto his arm tightly.
He sways on his feet and falls to the ground, his hand falling out to stop it. It falls into a shard of glass and embeds itself into the skin, which causes Sam to grunt out in pain. He begins to cry out as he grips at his head.
"Sammy!" Dean yells.

Flicking through the pages of the book, my mind doesn't seem to take in anything I'm reading. I'm trying to do anything to distract me, but it doesn't seem to be working very well. Dean, he's got baby to fix up and Bobby, he's working on looking out for any sign of Cas. And Sam? Well, he's been asleep for awhile now. All of us just waiting for him to wake up.
