My eyes scan around the corridor as I walk through the hospital towards Dean's room. Apparently he and Sam were admitted last night, Dean with a broken leg and Sam with a head injury. Bobby and I are dressed in our Fed outfits and we're on high alert for any Leviathans. I watch the numbers count up until I see Dean's room number and I open the door up. I look around until I spot him lying on the floor, a cast to just above his knee.
"You okay?" I ask, stepping in with Bobby close behind.
"Addy, Bobby you're alive." He says, looking like he's seen ghosts.
"Of course we are. Why are you on the floor?" Bobby asks, looking at him confused.
"They gave me morphine. A lot." He says before looking down at his leg, "Hey, look, a monster broke my leg."
Bobby and I both walk over and help him to a sitting position on the bed. He looks lost in thought before facing us, "Wait. The house. We thought you were dead."
"Well, we ain't. Not yet. But we gotta run." Bobby says, shutting the blinds to the room.
"This place isn't safe." I say, grabbing his clothes before turning back to him, "Where's Sam?"
"Uh, head scan. I think." He says after a moments thought.
"You meet me at the ambulance dock, stat. I'll find Sam." Bobby says, looking to me and I nod my head.
"Wait, where?" Dean asks before gesturing to his leg, "Bobby, I'm a gimp."
I turn and grab the crutches by the door and smile at him, "Well then, you're lucky you have a pretty kick ass wife."
Bobby turns and makes his way out of the room and I grab Dean's pants and shake them out, "Come on baby, we don't have much time."
"I thought you were dead, I mean..." He trails off, his eyes locked on me as he looks lost for words.
I reach forward and place my hand on his cheek and look into his eyes, "Baby, I promise you that I will explain everything and give you an amazing reunion kiss later. But right now we don't have the time. We need to get you dressed and down to the ambulance dock before we get served up for dinner."
"Okay." He says quickly and I help him get dressed as quickly as possible.
Once he's ready, I give him the crutches and we make our way towards the door. With adrenaline coursing through my veins, I peek out the door to see if the coast is clear.
"All right, let's go." I say, opening the door up and walking out.
Dean hobbles after me on the crutches and I scan my eyes everywhere, looking for the inevitable threat. Dean is disorientated, swaying on the crutches and I place a hand on his back to steady.
"Just stay focused baby, you're doing great." I say, helping him forward.
We turn down a few a corners, it being a bit difficult with Dean's intoxicated state. My heart pounds wildly as I keep my hand on the gun in my waistband, ready to use it at a moments notice is necessary. I also keep an eye out for the signs directing us to the ambulance bay, making the right turns when neccessary.
