The bottles in my hand rattle together as I place the six pack of beers into the fridge. It's been roughly ten days since Sam's soul was restored to his body and he hasn't woken up. With each passing day we all get more and more anxious, wondering if it has worked at all. Dean in particular is taking it the hardest and I know he's beginning to blame himself for everything that's happened.

I reach into the shopping bag and begin to pack away the rest of the food when I hear footsteps coming up from down the hallway. I look back and see Dean taking a seat in front of Bobby at the desk, who begins to pour him a drink, "Like my Daddy always said, 'Just because it kills your liver don't mean it ain't medicine.' Sam still asleep?"

"Yeah." Dean nods, taking a sip of his drink.

I put the last of the food away and make my way over towards the guys. I come to a stop beside Dean, wrapping my arm around his shoulder. He puts his leg down and pulls me into his lap, his free arm wrapping around my waist as I place a kiss on his forehead.

"He's gonna wake up." I say, my hand running through his hair.

"Yeah." He murmurs, not sounding convinced.

"Dean, he's been through how much?" Bobby asks, "Somehow he always bounces back."

"He's never been through this." He counters, his lips pursed.

A sadness comes over me as I look at him, hating to see him like this. He just wants his brother back, we all do and for him to think that he's so close, yet so far it hard is heartbreaking.

"Job?" Dean asks, nodding towards the desk.

I look over and see Bobby sliding over a print out of a newspaper article about a small plane crash that killed two people, "Might be."

"Can I help? Send me to a library? Anything?" Dean asks, looking for anything to distract him from what's going on here.

"Couple goes up in a light plane. Wreckage was just found in the woods." Bobby explains, running his hands over his face tiredly.

"Couple of Buddy Hollys doesn't really seem like 'News of the Weird'." I say, looking down at the article.

"Pilot was found seventeen miles away, flambéed. Girls just gone. No body, no nothing." Bobby counters and Dean gives a nod, "Okay, I'm not changing the channel."

"Dean."

The familiar voice causes my heart to skip a beat as I turn around to face them. Sam takes us all in, his eyes a mixture of wariness and relief as he slowly walks forward. He doesn't look any worse for wear, just looking like the man I know and love.

"Sam?" Dean asks as I slide off of his lap, allowing him to get to his feet.

Dean takes a step towards him, "Are you-?"

Sam rushes forward and throws his arms around his brother, holding him tightly as he lets out a deep breaths. My hormones along with a mixture of my happiness causes my eyes to well up as I watch the reunion. They hug each other for the longest of moments before Sam pulls back, his eyes landing on me.

He walks forward and wraps me up in his big frame as he lifts me off of my feet. I hug him tightly, it feeling unreal for me to finally be holding the real him once more. I bury my head in his neck, letting out a weak sob. He sets me down and pulls back, taking in my tears. He glances over towards Bobby and steps to him, hugging him tightly as well which causes Bobby to grunt, "Good to see you."
