Squeezing my eyes tightly shut, I let out a groan as I stretch out my legs and arms as a yawn escapes my lips. Lazily I open my eyes and take in the white canopy surrounding the luxuriously sized bed. I look at it confused for a moment, sitting up and taking in the room. The room is filled with expensive mahogany furniture, it being a really fancy room which is the opposite of what I'm used to.

I turn my head and look to the side, seeing the unfamiliar black haired man fast asleep. I vaguely remember coming home from the local bar with him last night, resulting in some pretty average sex. To be honest, I don't even remember his name or anything about him. I silently get out of bed, trying my best not to disturb him to avoid an awkward encounter as I chuck my clothes back on.

I quietly sneak out of the house without leaving a note and grab out my phone, seeing that it's dead. I sigh annoyed and shake my head as I tuck it back into my purse, looking around for any sign of where I am. I make my way down the street, knowing I look like the typical night after girl but I don't care.

Turning down a couple of streets, I notice a small coffee shop up ahead and I quickly fix my hair as best I can as I head inside. The place is buzzing with people, but I ignore them as I desperately want a coffee. I make my way to the counter, pulling out my wallet as I look up at the menu board.

"Hey, what can I get you?" A woman's friendly voice asks.

I look towards her and smile, "Can I have caramel latte with a ham and cheese Danish thanks?"

"Of course, no problem." She says, typing it into the machine. I give her the cash and step off to the side, waiting for my food to be ready.

I notice that there's a wall that holds all the local tourist attractions and I walk over towards it, looking them all up. There's the usual farmers markets, a supposed haunted house and other small town attractions. I see a map of the town and I snatch it up, looking it over to find my way back. After retrieving my order, I begin to walk the way it shows me too, seeing I'm actually not too far away from my motel.

Before I know it I see my baby parked out front of my hotel room, a 1967 Chevy Impala that I bought for myself on my eighteenth birthday. I smile lovingly at her as I walk past, my fingertips brushing over her shiny black surface. I pull out my key card to the room and go inside, shutting it behind me. My bed is still unmade from yesterday morning, the wall opposite covered with a large map and various papers.

I place the food down on the table and plug my phone in to charge, knowing I'm going to need it when I head out today. Pictures of people are stuck to the wall, their death reports from the local newspapers stuck close by as well as lots of writing. My laptop is on the table next to my lore books and my hunting journal, a book filled with all my experiences.

I pull off my clothes and leave them in a heap on the floor at the foot of the bed, walking to the bathroom to shower and get rid of last nights one night stand off of me. The water is refreshing and relaxing, me relishing in the feeling of its calmness. I've been in this town for the past three days, working this case and trying out what has been killing these people.

I'm currently in Chester, Pennsylvania where three people have died in the past week. Normally I wouldn't be concerned, but they've died in rather strange ways. For example, the last man died due to this garage door falling on top of him and cutting his head off. And it's not just here, it's been happening all over the country and the death toll keeps on rising.
