"I've been getting blasts from hunters all week." Bobby explains, gesturing down to the map laid out on the table. Grabbing a red marker, he begins to circle different towns on the map, "Nest of vamps, werewolf dance party. Shifters, six of them. Two hunters died taking them out. Ghouls, ghouls, ghoul-wraith smorgasbord."
"Is that just me, or is that a straight kick line down I-80?" Dean asks, reaching down and touching the map.
"Exactly." Bobby says, drawing a long line connecting the towns.
"Looks to me like it's a Sherman March monster mash." Dean states, his arms folding over his chest as he looks at the map.
"Yeah, but where are they marching to?" I murmur, looking up to Bobby. He reaches down and draws a big circle around a town at the end of the line.
"What is it?" Sam asks and Bobby looks between the three of us, "Guy bashes in his family's heads."
I nod my head, "Okay, looks like we've got a case. Better get going." I say, beginning to turn to make my way out of the room.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Where do you think you're going?" Dean asks, grasping at my wrist and turning me back to face him.
"To pack...?" I say, wondering what he's going on about.
"Do you really think it's best that you come along? I mean, there's a lot more..." Sam says, gesturing to the small round bump that presses against my shirt.
"Yes?" I say, folding my arms over my chest and narrowing my eyes at him.
"We just want to keep you and the baby safe." Bobby says and I glare between the three of them, "Just because I'm fifteen weeks pregnant, doesn't mean I can't do my job."
"We're not saying that." Dean says quickly, not wanting to upset me, "I just think that you need to start taking it more easy."
"Do you honestly think that I'm just going to sit around on my ass while you guys go off and work?" I ask and Dean nods, "Honestly yes. I don't want you out there, it's dangerous."
"You go out and risk your life all the time." I argue and he shakes his head, "Yeah, but I'm not pregnant."
I grit my jaw and narrow my eyes at him, "I'm going."
I turn on my feet and walk away towards where our bags are, getting ready to go on the case.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We stand in our hotel room after a long drive, the four of us getting dressed and ready to head down to the police station. I stand in the bathroom, attempting to do up the zipper on my skirt. But as I try, I find it difficult to do. I let out a frustrated sob, angry tears falling down my cheeks.
These past few weeks have been a bit rough. The three of us were working a case that was apparently linked to one that Sam worked when he was soulless. It was connected, a man orchestrating it to trap Sam. Once we defeated the man, Sam began to fit as he fell into a flashback from hell which infuriated Dean due to his tampering with the wall.
Sam and Dean also had a very strange experience, being sent to an alternate reality where our lives were played out on a TV show called Supernatural. Balthazar sent them there with a supposed key to a room that held all the weapons he stole from heaven. However, there was an angel hunting them from Raphael's force. But it was apparently a ruse divised by Balthazar and Castiel. While they were trapped in the other world, Castiel used that distraction in his favour in order to retrieve the weapons that Balthazar hid. Castiel refuses to tell us what's really going on, what his plan is to stop Raphael.
