Not So Good News (chapter twenty seven)

*Justin's P.O.V.*

I woke up to see Anna standing up changing Jason's diaper she was so gentle with him and easy she looked over at me when he buttoned his oneies and placed him back in his blanket and swaddled him.

Good morning baby. You want to hold your little man?

Of course I do, how did you sleep?

Good I had you by me.

She handed me the little infant that brought us so much joy, so did his sister. She sat by me and took some pictures of me and him, we sat there just looking at his perfection then the nurse and doctor walked in. The nurse took Jason from me and places him in his little hospital basket and took him back to the nursery, the doctor didn't look like he had good news.

Good morning guys how are you?

We're fine, just wanting to see our little baby. Anna said concerned she knew something was wrong.

Mr and Mrs. Bieber.... I'm so sorry but Brianna passed away late last night.

All the color flushed out of Anna's face, I felt like someone had punched me right in the gut this was the worse news anybody could have gotten.

What... do you mean.. What was the cause?

She was so much smaller than Jason and we tried bit her heart wasn't strong enough.

I looked over at Anna she had tears in her eyes.

I never got to see or hold her...

I took her in my arms and rocked her as she began to cry. I couldn't help but to cry as well the doctor walked out giving us time to take everything in.

*Annas P.O.V.*

I looked up at Justin.

Was it my fault?

No it is not your fault angel. She was just to small, you had nothing to do with her passing.

Are you sure Justin?

Yes baby. I promise you.

I layed my head on his chest he layed down rubbing my hair, I know we have to be strong for Jason but right now I just need to cry and so does Justin even though he is trying so so so hard to be strong he just lost his little girl. We laid there in each others arms in silence for most of the day we didn't have any visitors because the nurse told them we were up for visitors today.

I looked over at the clock it was already 6:00pm Justin was asleep he had dried tears down his cheeks, I got up and called the nurse and told her I wanted a bath so she came in and helped me into the bath.

I'm sorry for your lost sweetie.

She was an older lady and super sweet.

Thank you, it means a lot.

She bought me one of my night gowns and panties. Justin was awake now he was rocking Jason in the rocking chair I smiled at my guys I walked over to them and he looked up at me and smiled.

He is precious you know that right?

Just like his mom.

I smiled at o him and he stood up and handed me the baby.

I'm going to take a shower.

Can you take him then hand him to me so I can sit down?

Yeah sure get comfy.

I sat down with my blanket and pillow he handed the little fragile baby to me he was hungry so it's a good thing he was taking a shower because the nurse came in to teach me how to breastfeed him. He learned real fast, I couldn't help but smile down at mine and Justin's creation. He was perfect. And so was Brianna.
