Blinded by emotions,
Controlled by fear
They're not easy to tame,
My dear.
They tell us to control our feelings
They say it's not that tough.
But saying so
Isn't enough
We feel too violently
Everything amplified
Ever feeling magnified
By a million
It takes longer to get over people
Longer to love people
And longer to forget
The world moves on
But we're stuck
Still unable to leave
Even though we're only there with a memory
It's hard to trust anyone
When the world is going too fast
And the emotions, they overflow
Choking our hearts
Drowning our souls
We're left to suffocate
