Do you know how hard it is,
To be around you, when every word you say breaks my heart?
Do you know how much it hurts me,
To be there for you, all the time?
Do you understand the pain I go through for you?
And no, I'm not asking for your gratitude.
Just, maybe, a more positive attitude?
A smile, here and there.
A laugh, that echoes through the still air?
You can be happy, if you try.
But you refuse, turn your head and close your eyes.
As if that'll change anything!
You can be so much more than what you are.
If only you tried to be better.
Why won't you try?
Nothing breaks my heart more
Than seeing someone who thinks they don't deserve happiness.
They don't deserve love, kindness.
They think they're worthless.
But they're wrong.
You're wrong.
You are worth more than you think.
Your life is worth more than you know.
So please, don't go.
