It all started that one summer...
Chapter 39 - hold me in your arms.
Katie
When I woke up the next morning, I was starving. Reason why I should never have ice cream and popcorn for dinner. Isco was fast asleep in my bed and I didn’t want to wake him up, so I decided to make my way to the kitchen as quietly as possible. I reached the living room and I found my phone next to the couch. I remembered Isco putting it there last night after talking to Bojan, but I had forget all about it after that. I decided to check if I had any messages from my mom, but instead I found two missed calls from Bojan and a text. I also noticed I had a new voicemail. I sighed and called my voicemail.
“Hey Katie,” as I thought it was Bojan. “It’s me, Bojan. Could you please call me, I really want to talk to you.” He said and I started to bite my lip. I was never a fan of playing with fire and that is what Bojan wanted.
I put my phone down on the table on my way to the kitchen. I grab a bowl and serve myself some chocolate cheerios. I sat on the couch with the tv off, just letting my thoughts take over. I really didn’t know what to do, Isco is amazing and I love him more than anything right now, but Bojan was being impossible. I’ve told him many times that I am with Isco and I would never do anything to ruin that, but he keeps insisting. I had finally thought I made a friend to go hang out while Emma and Alma were out. I just wanted a friend that was single and could make time for me. Since the moment I met Bojan, I had a feeling he liked me but at first I had though I made it all in my mind. It really wasn’t until Gerard Pique mentioned it that I realized what I had done.
Isco probably has to leave tonight and I was extremely happy he made it here. I was actually surprised when he got here. I had thought it was Bojan and I was about to freak out, but seeing his face made it all the tears worth it. The smile on Isco’s when he saw me was incredible. I felt someone mess with my hair and it made me stop thinking about the whole mess. I turned around and Isco was heading into the kitchen to get himself something to eat. He noticed my phone on the table then turned to look at me curiously.
I tried to act cool and like Bojan hadn’t called me at all, but Isco probably saw right through me. Isco looked tired, to me. His brown hair wasn’t sticking up the way it usually did so he probably spent the whole night tossng and turning.
“Bojan called again…” He asked and then turned to his cereal bowl.
“Yeah..” I said looking down at my cereal bowl. Isco was talking to me from the kitchen, he leaned against the kitchen counter and I could admire how elegant he looked. He usually dressed in jeans and trashy shirts, he never seemed to care how he looked.
“I like the pictures in your room…” Isco said changing the subject and I was happy I didn’t have to ask him to change it.
“really?” I asked with a smile looking up towards him. Isco nodded with a huge smile and everything I had been worrying about before was gone. “did you sleep okay? Does your knee still bother you?” I asked leaving my bowl in the living room and walking towards him. I was worried about him, the fall had just been horrible and Alma had to stop me because I wanted to go see if he was okay. Plus, I had called him like 2 times forgetting he couldn’t answer.
“It doesn’t bother me that much.” Isco said leaving the kitchen and we met halfway. “And I didn’t sleep that bad,” Isco said laughing and pulling his hand behind my neck and looking into my eyes. “Someone was talking in their sleep.” He said touching my nose.
