MotM- Joe Gomez

(I've basically gone with him cos I'm glad to see him back and he did good)

First meeting in 55 years, they've never won at Anfield, we weren't meant to draw today!

Liverpool Echo said something about a hat trick from Woodburn, what happened to letting the lad grow up without undue expectation/ pressure?

For fucks sake all one of you had to do was score - tbf Origi did but didn't count. I'm so pissed off, we can't fucking afford a replay especially one where we have to travel to PLYMOUTH. Didn't even care which side, I started getting hopeful at their attempts at running on goal.

They're league 2, this was meant to be easy, done and dusted but nothing's ever easy with us. Everyone was like we'd won it when the balls were drawn, I never assumed and I'm glad I didn't.

I'm supposed to be boasting about how Gerrard won us this by picking out the draw, I was even gonna give Ian Wright a bit of credit for picking the away team.

I'm supposed to be boasting about how this was the youngest team in our history 21 years 296 days (that was the only bit of excitement to the whole game) and they did great - they didn't do anything bad, they were just stuck doing the same thing over and over as we keep doing young or old.

We absolutely wasted every set piece whether that's our 17 (may have lost count) corners or our groundhog day free kicks.

For fuck's sake Liverpool STOP crossing to the keeper, the ball goes in the net NOT to him!!!

First half stats for Plymouth was soo many zeros, ours isn't much better, you've got all the possession, so what? You actually need to move about, quick which they did during the added minute but that's it!

Woodburn and Ojo and they young ones are constantly running out of pitch but that's fine apparently.

Can's lost it cos someone pinched him.

Lucas got the ball fair and square but that's a free kick cos it's him. He thinks he's Suarez or someone, those shots would've been talked about FOREVER especially with his goal record but no course they're no goal.

Bring on the artillery (Sturridge, Firmino and Lallana) and best they can do is Sturridge hitting the same bit of post twice.

Moreno was cheated out of a shot cos Miller fell over and then it was a goal kick when he was off, not that I'd have had any hope for said shot going in.

Origi scored but he'd been wrestling so it was a foul instead, that was the last we saw of the ball over  the line and it was about the last we saw of him.

Karius had a top game though, got to watch from nearly the halfway line (lucky guy), first touch 47 mins, caught a few balls, there was one where he was just froze and for a second we thought he just did nothing and the ball was gonna go in but he just grabbed it.

A hand (Purrington's hand) clearly above their head touches the ball, that's not handball or it's just plain missed by the ref. Speaking of the ref he let Plymouth fans make decisions for it.

Plymouth fans got a party at our expense and we're sat back watching like there's a documentary on. No, it's not a library it's a museum.

I was watching Guardiola's mardy press conferences after us and Burnley and he was asked about Anfield all the comments were like why's there a media obsession with "Anfield atmosphere" when they don't sing or whatever and I thought they're just upset City fans they dunno what they're talking about but today they were certainly right. We must be saving our voices for Southampton.

I don't know what else to say. I'm so mad that I don't even wanna point out Everton got knocked out yesterday and are gonna enjoy 22 years without a trophy.

Next up EFL Southamptonaway, Wednesday 11th January, 19:45.
