(I got what he's been bringing into the squad all season today)

We're second in the league!

I was shocked when commentators said we needed +2 goals for 1st at the start. Nearly missed the 2nd goal celebration turning to my Dad like yeah, we're top of the league, back where we belong. It was a good 63 minutes at the top. I'm glad we're not quite at the top cos it means the pressure isn't coming on us, we're still that team that's around the top but it's Spurs, Arsenal (points droppers) and City the attention's on.

Tony Pulis is unbeaten in his last eight league games with Liverpool. That ends today!

All this we can't because last year and the year before is getting old anyway but we can cos last year still stands.

The first half was it, the football we are all about. Not quite the fastest, most heavy metal attack but we weathered their defense, stuck to the plan, stayed patient but clear on our attack and all that and it paid off twice.

Dad said it was the best football he's seen in a long, long time and I definitely agree. Other than saying he don't like Can, he didn't find much to complain about so we must be doing well.

Each game this season we're ticking off one thing or another that we can't do and proving it wrong, of course it's not perfect yet or it'd be 3-0 or something but we beat Tony Pulis' football today and that's something.

As I say it wasn't the quickest, most comfortable start but we've learnt to deal with it, United was decent practice for having a defence in the way that has little intention of attacking so good on them.

20 minutes and they get their reward, real good team goal. Perfect cross from Firmino and Mane finishes in style in the bottom corner.

Poor keeper kick leads to Coutinho cutting inside and firing in. Got to say though, Foster had a good game at keeping us out.

That's two, lets hear it. Now ya gonna believe us...

Lallana's 100th appearance for Liverpool, outstanding, still can't believe how much of a main man he's become! He went off at 79 minutes, they scored at 81, no coincidence.

(Except it was a corner and we still have work to do on them, their first shot on target, naturally)

Karius looked way better even if that moment wasn't so good for any of us.

Things got pressured, 2-1 coulda turned into 2-2 and left us with another needless draw but Klopp actually went with clock running subs. Still attacking Mourinho! Lucas getting game time! And then Origi.

3 extra minutes and an extra, extra 30 seconds of needing that whistle to be blown.

We're now unbeaten in 12 home Premier League games (won seven, drawn five), the longest run since a sequence of 14 in April 2014.
