Goodbye
I'm fading.
I'm holding onto something
That is destroying me,
But keeping me in existence at the same time.
Should I let go?
Should I hold on,
And let it be the only thing,
Keeping me breathing?
I'm slipping.
I'm slowly losing my grip
On the rope
The only thing keeping me from falling down a hole.
A hole with a beautiful face at the bottom
But one that will eat me alive.
I'm going.
Can't you see my attention waning?
Can't you see my focus leaving?
A gloss creeping over my eyes?
Can't you see the one thing
Taking up all of my time?
The only thing holding me here
Is consuming me,
Alive.-V
