Thank you for making my days just a little brighter
Hey sunshine
Won't you come out today
The weather's nice
But the sky's just a bit gray
But if you come out it won't be so blue
And everything will be ok
If I'm here with you
And if you come out sunshine
The dolls in my attic will quiet up
Maybe not forever but just at the moment
Tell me a few words to make me feel safe
Not to much but just so I know
That I'm not all alone
And if you give me your words
I'll trade them for mine
You seem to enjoy them
No matter the time
I pour out my heart
And you seem to understand
And just for you sunshine
I'll hold out my hand
I'll tell you the stories
Behind all my words
And you just might be able to grasp
The pain that I endured
From the first to the last
It wasn't an outward kind of pain
But more a pain of my heart
As the boys from my words
One was unintentional
The other needs to be stopped
A couldn't help that he moved away
But things that the other did
They are unspeakable and vile
I pray you don't make me repeat them
But maybe for you sunshine
Maybe one day I'll tell
But you just keep on with your words
And I'll keep on with mine-V

PoetryJust words that flow A river in my head It twists and turns And never stays the same The current is strong You can never go back Pen it down And remember The joy of the ride Through the rough bumpy tide That are the words In my mind.
