Maybe you'll understand
Sometimes I just can't find the words
My brain just doesn't know how
To string them together
In a way that you'll understand
I don't know all the words
And sometimes English isn't enough
I need more words than we have
But sometimes I don't need words
When it comes to expressing how I feel
Sometimes I can just cry
And you will know exactly
Sometimes I cry and I don't know why
But it gets my point across
Sometimes I don't have the words
To tell you how much I love you
To tell you how much I care
Sometimes all I can do is hold you
And run my fingers in your hair
And that's enough to tell you
That it'll all be ok
Sometimes I can't help
Words and touches don't matter
They can't tell how I fell
Or make you feel any better
And there is nothing I hate more
Than feeling like you can't help yourself
And let alone another.
