You just need a little taste to get hooked
Heart pounding
You can hear your blood
In your ears
You feel great
You lungs don't burn as much
Your legs have got this rhythm
They pound the ground
Left
Right
Left
Right
You don't know
If it's a good idea
To run from them
But you did
And now you feel great
A smile
Plastered on your face
Arms are pumping
By your sides
The world is rushing by
You can't hear them any more
So you run faster
Faster and faster
You feel as though
You could never stop
You could go forever
You feel great
You want to feel like this
All the time
Every hour
Every day
You feel invincible
You could jump out of an airplane
And survive
Fight a bear
And win
Lift an entire car
With a five person family inside
And save their lives
It probably wasn't a good idea
To run today
It was icy
They had a car
They could easily catch up
But oh didn't it feel so good
Before you hit the slope?
