Charlotte's P.O.V

I stared at him blankly.

He gave off a blank stare as well.

"Cedrick and Lucas are in your room, they'll be helping you out for tonight. I'll pick you up at 7 for your dinner with the old master."

Eh?

Cedrick?

Lucas?

Oh no... don't tell me ...

another layers of make-ups?!?!?

I inwardly sighed as I rubbed my forehead...

(Do you remember Cedrick? He's the guy who was tasked to make a customized gown for Charlotte because Holly was having a birthday party -TMBMAMB THE CHANGE... And then Lucas who helped transform Charlotte for the gala - LAST CHAPTER.)

I sighed once more as I strode to where my room is. But along the way, I have one question that is lingering in mind.

'For what purpose does the head of the family want to see me now?'

It's been almost 9 months since I've stayed here. But why now?

"Darling!!"

"Honey!!"

I couldn't decipher who shouted what but as soon as I entered the room, two guys came to me with wide open arms.

I gave them an emotionless stare which earned a look of displeasure from the both of them.

"Your expression really does annoy me sometimes, do you know that?" Lucas asked.

"You really are interesting in a displeasing way," Cedrick said.

I sighed as I strode to my bed and sat.

"So... When will we start?" I asked.

Lucas chuckled, "Oh babe, we still have 4 hours left. So how about telling us how you and boss Jayden developed so far?"

He gave me one of the knowing looks.

"Yeah, I got curious when he canceled for the dress. Do you know how hurt I was?" Cedrick asked.

My eyebrows knitted together, "Developed? What?" I asked confused.

Lucas sighed, "I knew you were going to say that ... "

And then he suddenly smirked.

"Oh so that was what was up!" Cedrick exclaimed.

"Yupp."

"What?" I asked confused.

Both grinned at me.

"Well you know honey, when I saw the kiss marks on your neck, I thought of asking how it went. But then I realized that you are not going to tell me anything at all. That is why ... "

"Tadah!" Cedrick raised a big box out under the desk.

He came to me and showed me.

"What is this?" I asked, clueless.

"Eh?"

"Oh sweetheart, these are cameras."

"Oh, okay. But... what do you need it for?" I asked.

"Well... we installed some in your room so we could watch how you guys developed so far," Lucas answered.

I blinked a couple of times before it dawned on me.
