Destined {Magcon Fan Fiction}

Chapter One

I woke up and jumped out of bed.  It was the first day of summer break, and I was going on a trip with my older brother Jack tonight.  My older brother is Jack Gilinsky - the famous viner.  He invited me to go with him and his other vine friends to Los Angeles, California.  Jack is in college, and was coming home this morning so he could take me and my best friend Rosemary on a plane from Charleston, South Carolina.  I grabbed my suitcase laying on the floor and plopped it on my bed.  My drawers were opened with full force from excitement and I started to fold clothes and put them inside.  We would be in LA for two weeks, and I was so eager to get there!  Magcon would only be for three days, but the rest of the time is supposed to be all of us just having fun and touring the city.  

"Eliza!  Are you in there?" Rosemary asked.

"Yeah!  Come in Rosie!" I replied loudly.

She opened the door and rolled her suitcase in behind her.  

"I am so excited!  Oh my God!  I cant wait to go!" She screamed.

I laughed while responding, "Yeah!  I know!  It's going to be great!"

For the next hour, the two us talked about what we were planning to do and who would be there.  

"Eliza!  Jack is home!" My Mom yelled from the main floor.

I screamed and ran downstairs.  Jack was standing in the doorway with open arms. 

"Come here Bud!" Jack said.

Jack has called me Bud since I can remember.  I wrapped my arms around my older brother, and looked up at him.  He smiled down at me, and let go so he could take in his suitcase.

"So, you ready for a big vacation, Bud?" Jack asked, sounding really excited. 

"Yes!  Of course!" I responded.  

Rosemary came downstairs and hugged Jack.  

"Ah, well if it isnt our Rosie.  I was hoping my little sister would have gotten rid of you by now.  Please tell me you arent coming." Jack joked, with a goofy smile plotted across his face.

The four of us laughed.

Rosie said, "You wish Jack."

Jack laughed in response, and turned to talk to my Mom.  Rosie and I went back upstairs and continued to talk more about the trip.

"I HAVE ARRIVED!" Someone downstairs screamed, while also slamming thier front door shut.

It was Jack Johnson.  My older brothers' best friend.  He was one of the funniest people I knew.  And I'm pretty sure he thought of me as his younger sister too.

"Where is Eliza?" I heard Jack scream.

I ran down the stairs once more, and hugged Jack J.  We all call him JJ for short.  Since my older brother's name is Jack, sometimes it gets a little confusing.  

"Eliza!  Yay!  I've missed you!  Well, and here is Rosie, I believe we have met many times before this!" JJ said.

Rosie hugged JJ, and then we all ate lunch.  Jack and JJ go to the same college and they rode the same plane here today, but JJ wanted to check in with his family down the street (literally) first.  JJ was coming with us tonight.

After lunch, Rosie and I went upstairs and did last minute prep before we got on our flight in an hour.  

"Girls!  Come downstairs!  It's time to go!"  My Mom called.  

I was filled with adrenalin and dragged my suitcase down the stairs quickly, hearing a constant clunk clunk clunk.  We all got into the car, and drove to the airport.  I hugged my Mom and kissed her goodbye.  She waved as we walked onto our flight at the gate.  I sat next to Rosie with JJ and Jack directly behind us.  Rosie and I heard them laughing, and immediately knew they were taking a vine. 

"I'm kind of scared." Rosie said, sounding a little paranoid.

Why was she scared?  She has been on a plane so many times before!  More times than me, and thats a lot.

"It's okay Rosie.  Just hold on to my hair, and you can pull it when you need to."  I laughed.

Rosie laughed to, and said, "No actually, I'll be fine."

The plane took off, and we were in the air.  Rosie and I played games, and did electronics (when they allowed it).  It was a good plane ride, but it seemed the more excited I got the longer it took to get there.
