I pulled my blue jeans and blue green flannel shirt on. I put in my red earrings and dropped my hat on my head and headed out. I didn't bother with makeup. My acne showed through anyways. I walked to the Mystery Shack as fast as I could in excitement.
When I got there I found my ruthless, bleach-blond sister Veronica flirting with Dipper. Dipper didn't look all that happy about it. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and ended up tripping over a small display of something called the lepricorn. It made a loud noise and I yelped as I tripped.
Dipper's chair fell over and suddenly he was above me with his hand out.
"Uck! What are you doing here!" cried my sister, Veronica.
I took Dipper's hand and he helped me up. "Sorry, Dipper. I tripped over... whatever that was." I glared at Veronica. "I got distracted."
"No problem... um." He stared at me a moment. "I'm sorry you saved my life earlier and I don't even know your name."
"I-it's Lily Castle." I looked at him and our eyes locked. He had the most beautiful golden brown eyes I'd ever seen. We stayed like that for a full thirty seconds but it felt longer. We only stopped when Veronica cleared her throat.
"I like your name Lily," he said as her took a dollar and fifty-two cents from the register and gave it to Veronica. He turned towards the door behind the counter and yelled, "Gruncle Stan! I'm going on a lunch break! Let Soos know!" I didn't hear a response but Dipper jumped back over the counter. "Let's go Lily."

We walked together to Lazy Suzan's dinner. He order a simple sandwich and I made him get fries. "You're too skinny!" I told him. "You've got to eat more."
"But I don't want to spend all your money." He took a sip of the root beer he had ordered.
"Don't worry dude. I've got more money. That's no problem for me." I opened my wallet and took out my money. "Let's see... I have $100 here and get a 100 more tomorrow." I shoved my money back into my wallet. "Get the fries."
"Fine." He gave in and ordered the fries as well.
I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup with a side of fries and a pie. We sat there for nearly an hour eating pie and talking about random stuff. Eventually we finished eating and went for a walk. We started down a trail in the woods.
As we walked, we talked more. "You wouldn't believe some of the stuff I've seen in this forest. Go ahead and take a guess."
"Let's see..." I set my finger on my cheek and thought for a moment. "I'm gonna go with gnomes, fairies, zombies." I gasped. "Have you seen a unicorn?!"
"How did you know about all that?"
"I'm from Gravity Falls, remember? No one knows anything about this but I'm gonna let you in on a secret." I smiled at him. "When I was twelve I found this thing, a book, in the forest. It didn't have an author name or anything like that. I read it all the way through but that was about it. I didn't look for these things but they seemed to find me. I knew everything I'd been telling Mr. Pines was right and I didn't have an over-active imagination. It was a reddish colored book with a six fingered hand print on the front and a three on that. I always sort of though Mr. Pines was the one who wrote it because he was the only one who didn't laugh at me when I talked about those types of things. But he never admitted it so I didn't push it. I put the book back before summer started but when I came back the next year for school it was gone."
"Yeah... sorry about that..." He rubbed his arm. "They were sorta destroyed by Bill Cipher when he tried to overrun the world."
"Sorry, but what?" I looked back at him again. "Who is Bill Cipher?"
