Flashback part 2:
I took a longer route home this time, my mind still stuck with that boy who saved me earlier. I needed to find out who he was.

What his name was. I deserved to at least know the name of my saviour didn't I?

But most of all, I admired him. I wanted to become strong like him. I wanted to be able to protect those who were weaker than me, to be someone who was admired.

I looked up, just realising that my feet had already brought me to the doorstep of my vacant home.

I looked up, a glint of newfound determination in my eyes.

Thank you...

I muttered under my breath and opened the door.

* 2 months later*
* 3rd person's P.O.V*

A kunai flying at high speed landed spot on, right in the bull's eye attached to a tree.

Three Kunais followed right after, and another 3 followed, knocking the 2nd wave of kunais, deflecting them onto three more targets while the 3rd wave themselves stuck spot on to their respective targets.

A girl whose hair grew to a little beyond her shoulders flipped forward from a tree she was perched on and landed soundlessly on the ground, a smirk threatening to spill of the edges of her mouth as she saw all 8 targets that she had attached were hit right smack in the bull's eye.

Her hands formed seals at an incredible speed before she put two of her hands together in front of her mouth, mouthing ,

" Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu!"

A massive orb of roaring flame expelled and erupted from her mouth, her chest heaving rapidly as she tried to regain composure.

When the fire finally dissipated, a smile crept up her face, as the smoke cleared, revealing a large crater on the ground.

She smirked in satisfaction, slumping onto the ground in exhaustion after training consecutively for 4 hours.

Her chakra had been surprisingly lasting that day. She usually collapsed after the 3rd hour, but something kept her going that day.

She was finally attending her first day of genin training tomorrow and she wanted to make an impression.

She had started training 2 months ago with a resolve of wanting to become the strongest shinobi on earth.

She took one last breath and stood up, making her way to the streets, ready to replenish her exhausted body.

* Genin training day 1*

Everyone shuffled into class one by one, when it had finally struck 7 am, the last person entered the room.

The teacher in front was now announcing the respective genin groups along with their genin Teachers.

" Kurenai... Asuma... and Genma, all under genin instructor Isaki " the girl's eyes trailed over to the squealing kurenai whose cheeks were growing redder by the second after finding out that she was in the same group as Asuma.

She chuckled silently at how cute Kurenai was as she shifted her attention back to the teacher.

" and... for minato sensei..." all the students had immediately shifted their attention to the teacher announcing.

Minato sensei was someone who every student wanted as their teacher, because Minato was one of the strongest shinobi at the time. " Obito... " he trailed.

An excited shriek sounded from the top of the room as the girl's eyes trailed to the back, observing the overly eccentric boy.

She found overly eccentric or enthusiastic people annoying, possibly because she was really, the exact opposite.
His teammates must really feel upset.
She thought to herself, shuddering at the thought of being in the same team as a boy like him.

What was his name again? She thought and shrugged, obviously disinterested in the boy. " and we have Rin", a quiet gasp escaped the lips of a petite but pretty girl with short hair beside her.

The girl's eyes yet again found themselves sliding towards the shy girl.

She observed that the eccentric boy had excitedly jumped up, after hearing who his teammate was, earning a disgusted grunt from the girl whose eyes never seemed to settle.

" Also, we have Kasumi .. " the girl's eyes shot up at the sound of her name. Me... Me?!? Ehhh?! Kasumi thought to herself. No way was she going to let herself suffer in that awful group.

Just as she were about to raise her hand to express her objection, the announcer had added on another name.

" Due to the odd number of genin this year, we've decided that there would be 3 teams with 4 members instead. So Hatake Kakashi will be joining this team. "
Kasumi heard a snobbish grunt and turned her eyes to spot her next horrible teammate.

However, when her eyes finally found its target, her jaw dropped. I..It's... it's him! My.. my saviour...
