" No... No... NO! "

My gaze shifted to the ground, shaking my head vigorously as tears threatened to spill.

I hated the situation I was in, the dilemma I was facing, the fact that everyone I loved left me...

And with a farewell gift of an enormous burden that would probably restrict any happiness I could have.

The fact that my dearest Grandmother whom I trusted and still do, with all my heart was the one who blessed me with this curse.

No... most of all, I hated myself with a shocking deal of vehemence that I had listened to her words and shut everyone out.

I had declined the possibly one-time opportunity I would have to form a new bond, to allow someone else to share the huge burden with me and most of all, the chance to love again...

Minato sensei was taken aback by my sudden outburst and mental instability.

He calmed down and the warmth he radiated in his eyes had disappeared in a split second.

He sighed and removed his hand that was rested on my shoulder and stood up, his eyes still never leaving my petite body.

"Well, I'm not going to press you if you don't wish to disclose about your past. But seeing your outburst simply made me all the more worried about your mental health. So, in return, I'll be sure to watch you so nothing goes wrong and you'll be going with me on a trip to the hospital! "

A smile breaking upon his face yet again, before he patted me on the head which I absolutely hated, and left.

* the next day*
* 3rd person's P.O.V*

" Obito ! " the brown haired, Rin waved merrily at the lonely figure who was slouched on the floor.

Obito's head turned at his crush's voice as his eyes started to widen, immediately radiating love rays at the approaching girl.

" Rinn!! You're here!! I thought you all left without me! Minato sensei said to be here by 9am but it's already 9.15am! "

Obito ran towards Rin, only to stop when he heard a scoff.

" Baka..."

The silver haired boy jumped from the thick tree beside the two genins and landed on the ground soundlessly.

" I was here since 8.45am, but you were that much lacking of a ninja to not even notice my presence even though my chakra was not the slightest bit suppressed... "

Kakashi scoffed, looking unsurprised at Obito's lack of skills.

Just then, a flying shuriken came shooting past the 3 of them, brushing past Kakashi's masked cheek before landing on the thick tree.

Kakashi's eye widened initially and thinned upon noticing the familiar chakra and figure who stood before them.

" Hey Rin, Obito and Kakashi. Well, Kakashi, since you think you're so great in your sensory skills that you feel you have the right to look down on your teammate who, to be honest, has much greater potential than you, in my opinion. Why don't I enlighten you? I've been at that spot since you arrived as well, now tell me how someone with 'great' sensory skills like you could miss someone like me? "

An evil smirk dangerously lurked the girl's features.

There was a deafening silence for a couple of seconds before a scream was heard.

" Ahh! Ka... kakashi! Oi! Oii! You're... you're bleeding! "

A panicked Obito proceeded to try to tend to the wounds on Kakashi's face but his efforts were in vain as Kakashi merely swatted at Obito's outstretched hands.

Kakashi angrily turned away, unable to face the 4th member of the team due to the humiliation she had caused him.

Just a few moments later, Minato sensei appeared in the middle of the 4 genins with a poof, engulfing the area with smoke from his famous teleporting technique.

" Gomenasai! I was busy assisting The Hokage with some things that I lost track of time! Please, let's hurry off to our Mission venue! I'll brief you guys along the way! "

Minato sensei appeared with a guilt-laced smile as he started leading them to the Main gate of Konoha.

hello everyone! In case you were wondering, I'm going to make this story a Long series one, because I don't feel like I should rush things. Plus, I want a good character development! So even though this is supposed to be a Kakashi X Oc love story, it'll eventually happen but it'll be later on! Now they are still kids and still have yet to go on their first Mission so yeahh! Sorry I know today's chapter was a little less action packed and a little slower than usual! But I promise for those of you who like action packed chapters, the next few ones that are coming out will be full of them as they go on their first official Mission together as a team! Wooo! How exciting is that! Haha sorry for the Long message, hope you guys will enjoy the content & happy reading!
