" Rin Chan! "

I waved and smiled as I saw the pretty brunette turn towards my direction.

She squinted until her eyes were tiny slits from where I was.

Her eyes widened instantly.

"K..Kk.. KASUMI!!?"

She ran over, her hands already extended as she slammed into me, embracing me with her warmth as we both tumbled onto the ground.

We both chuckled, feeling extremely energised after seeing each other.

Rin, my best friend! Someone whom I could share all my 'girly' problems with.

Her face contorted with worry as she took a step back, her eyes hurriedly glancing over my entire being, before they returned back to my eyes.

"Kasumi! Are you fully recovered yet? You lost a lot of weight! This is all my fault! "

She covered her face as she began breaking into muffled sobs.

I quickly reached forward and held her hand firmly, a smile tugging on my lips as I squeezed her hands.

"Don't be silly. It was an accident. By the way, have you seen Kakashi?"

I looked around and realised that Kakashi wasn't around.

Where is that Baka?

I actually felt kind of hurt that he hadn't even come to see me once since I had woken up last week.

Jerk.

I shrugged my thoughts away and looked to the quiet Obito.

What's wrong with him?

He usually would have started yelling at us for leaving him out of our conversation by now..

I frowned, deeply uncomfortable with Obito's odd behaviour.

"Oii Tobi! What's wrong with you ? Why are you so quiet today? Got something stuck up your ass? "

I teased.

" Gomenasai , how are you feeling Kasumi? "

I couldn't take it anymore.

I felt a terrible urge to punch Obito squarely in the face, to tell him to stop his act.

Why was he acting so formal?
