Shinobi love- Kakashi x OC

Flashback part 11:

I activated my Tsumake Osunage, which would amplify my traits 10 times fold , including my strength.

I concentrated all my chakra into my right fist and felt the rush of adrenaline as the chakra pulsed violently beneath my veins.

When the moment was right, I clicked my tongue and turned my heels, pushing my heels hard against the ground, making a dash toward Kakashi's direction.

"SHANNARO!!"

I smashed my right fist as hard as I could into the hard, glass-like barrier.

The thin layer of skin covering my fists were now torn and fresh blood was slowly seeping out. The ground resonated with my forceful punch.

I took a step back, waiting for the impact to land.

Just 2 seconds later, a crack was heard, followed by several others.

The invisible barrier in front of us now showed crack lines and in a split moment, everything came shattering onto the ground.

Kakashi and I ran into the space that was fenced, our mouths agape and minds beyond confused.

Minato Sensei was standing there, with a tied up Obito and Rin, an innocent and proud smile cast upon his face.

Kakashi and I met each other's eyes before we glanced back to the scene, confused as to whether this was yet another genjutsu.

"Welcome back Kakashi and Kasumi ! Well done, you've both passed the chunnin tests! Congratulations! Kasumi, Kakashi, you are both hereby, officially chunnins! "

Minato Sensei ruffled both our hairs with his famous eye smile as our attention diverted back towards the still struggling and now, slightly angered Obito and a rather quiet Rin.

" Ehhh?!? "

"What about Rin and Obito? "

"They are Chunnins too aren't they!?"

I shot out, feeling a little angered at their sudden testing. We were genuinely worried sick for their well beings and here they are, telling us it's all a prank? A test of skills.

"Ah... Before you say anything, let me further explain the rationale behind this method of testing."

Minato sensei seemed to read my mind as he stalked closer toward us both.

"First of all, a Chunnin should be able to react appropriately and decisively in a real life situation.

But how would we be able to test for skills like that since an exam setting, is in itself a false, pretentious situation that the students would have already prepared for.

So, we decided that a simulation of a real life situation in which each member is unknowingly placed in a state of dilemma or a lose-lose situation would be tested for displayed skills of decisiveness and the ability to weight out the pros and cons of each alternative action to take.

So, Kakashi and Kasumi, you both have proven your worth as Chunnins and hence, I am officially delegating the title of chunnins to the both of you.

You both have displayed the ability to think  and follow through with the best plan you deem fit and displayed the ability to prioritise on what is most important.

Whereas, Rin and Obito have failed to, as Rin has been too caught up with worrying over Kakashi's false disappearance while Obito was just overly focused on proving his worth, trying to impress Rin by recklessly showing off his fancy techniques without considering its consequences.

And hence, they have yet to display the abilities of a chunnin, therefore only the two of you will receive this letter of acknowledgement signed by the Hokage."

He nodded his head, finishing his explanation which he seemed extremely satisfied with, and proceeded to hand us each the scrolls of acknowledgement.

Kakashi and I cranked our heads toward each other and our gaze locked.

We were both unsure of what to do.

To take?

Or not to take?

There was a part of me that edged me on to reach for the scroll which was definitely a stepping stone in helping me get closer to my eventual goal.

I truly was desperate to find out what happened to my parents and my grand Mother, but right now, I was hopeless.

I needed power. I needed more.
