Shinobi love- Kakashi x OC

* Let's fast forward so the story can progress and fit in nicely! Kakashi is 17 and Kasumi is 16 turning 17 & because this is a fanfic! I would like to clarify that some parts will be different for example , Rin and Obito haven't died yet*

Flashback part 10:

I stirred in my sleep as I felt someone carrying me. I forced my heavy lids open, feeling the searing midday rays on my eyelids, pushing its way in.

I squirmed, trying to stretch the post-sleep aches away and blushed immensely when I realised that two lean arms were wrapped around my mid thighs.

I stiffened, noticing the body I was on tense at my movements.

As my vision adjusted to the bright light, my senses returned as well and that included, yes, my ability to think straight.

My eyes widened as I made sense of the situation before me.

Oh, of course! The arms belonged to the one and only Kakashi!

"Uh... Ka.. Kakashi.. you can put me down now."

I muttered under my breath, still feeling the sleepiness.

He came to a halt upon landing on the next tree and placed me down carefully, his one arm still wrapped around my waist, knowing that my sense of balance wouldn't be at it's optimum just after my recovery sleep.

What the heck was wrong with me today?! I can't stop blushing oh my kami! Stop me, dear god!

I thought and cast my gaze to where our feet were, afraid that Kakashi would see me blush.

3rd Person's P.O.V:

Little did Kasumi know, Kakashi was also fighting back the blush that was threatening to spill on his cheeks. He was thanking the lord that he had a mask on.

The two continued their journey towards their agreed meeting point and they prayed hard that Obito, Rin and Minato Sensei would be there too.

Kasumi's P.O.V:

"We're here, aren't we?"

I muttered, halting right in front of a clearing that had a red flag planted right in its middle as described by Minato Sensei, of our meeting point.

"Yes... Technically, this is our meeting point... but where are they? "

Kakashi activated his Sharingan, scanning the seemingly empty clearing for any signs of chakra.

" There! 10'o clock direction from where we are"

Kakashi pointed towards the North west direction and started running, his hands starting to weave signs already.

"Wait, Kakashi!"

I shouted.

"Urghhh!"

I exclaimed.

Once I realised that Kakashi wasn't going to stop, I quickly chased after him.

"What is it, Kakashi?!"

I asked aloud, raising my voice, fighting the wind that was contantly slapping my face due to the speed we were running at.

He ignored my exclaim and came to a halt.

I watched, puzzled as Kakashi drew a kunai from his pouch and threw it towards the air.

"Kakashi, what are yo..."

I started but cut myself short when the kunai hit the air as though it was glass and fell to the ground with a thud.

He finally cocked his head towards me and said,

" There's a disturbance of chakra flow around this area. It seems like there is a invisible shield. But fortunately, the shield doesn't seem to have any form of repel since the kunai that hit it acted like it had hit a wall."

I nodded and activated my Tsumake Osunage.

" Tsumake Kaishin. KAI!"

I opened my eyes, feeling the familiar chakra surge beneath my eyes again.

I scanned the view that greeted us and saw the sudden distortion of nature energy just where the kunai landed.

How should we go about doing this?

I thought.

We'll need something powerful to destroy it. It doesn't seem very strong but we should aim to destroy it in one blow.

I mentally ran through the powerful jutsus that I knew of but none were suitable at that moment, because my opponent now, wasn't human.

I smirked.
