Flashback part 7:

"Arghh! Let go of me, bastards! "

Obito angrily spat, struggling hopelessly against his rope-bound limbs.

"Shut up rat, unless you're asking for an early death! "

One boy with messy brown hair, spat at Obito and grabbed him angrily at his hair.

That's it!

I thought to myself.

I need to intervene now.

I was about to throw my body forward to attack those cruel bastards when someone grabbed my arm and yanked me back forcefully, and then a little gently, placing a hand over my mouth.

I was about to retaliate when a familiar voice rang.

" Shush! Baka! Do you want to die as well??"

Kakashi whispered harshly, letting go of me once I've seemed to calm down.

I shot him a glare.

" Why would you care! And are you going to let your dear Friend die?!"

Kakashi ignored me and pulled me lower to the ground, his eyes never leaving the kidnappers.

I turned my gaze back to scene after realising that Kakashi wouldn't care to answer to my exclamations.

" Hurry, we need to get this done quickly! Else, his other friends will start coming to find him. "

The other, yellow haired boy muttered.

" I know! Stop rushing me! Besides, if his friends are anything like this idiot? We'll have no problem dealing with them."

The brown haired boy proceeded to bend down.

He reached his hand into his side pouch, retrieving a tag that resembled an exploding one.

I stiffened, my hand sliding into my pouch, getting ready to attack.

Kakashi seemed to notice, as his eyes settled on mine before turning back to the scene, as if finally agreeing to what I thought.

The brown haired boy soon pasted the tag on the floor that had red markings on it and started to form seals with his hands.

" WH... WHAT! Are you doing!!"

Obito started to freak out, kicking and throwing his body around, trying to escape, thinking it was an explosive as well.

The brown haired boy's gaze flickered to his partner's before irritatedly commanding,         

" Silence him, he's getting too noisy"

On cue, the yellow haired partner nodded his head and proceeded to get rid of the distraction.

My leg muscles tensed as I got ready to intercept.

Dragon Tiger Hare

The yellow haired guy formed seals as the edges of his mouth tugged upwards into a smirk, his eyes, deadly fixated on the still-struggling Obito.

I leaped forward, readying my own techniques to tackle his water jutsu.

"Water style : Raging Waves!"

He exclaimed, raising his right hand up to his chin level, putting up two fingers as he inhaled sharply before exhaling with his might.

Water gushed out from the tip of his mouth like a waterfall rushing towards the direction of Obito whose eyes were now madly wide in horror.

I put my hands together, forming seals rapidly.

Tiger Boar Snake Ram

"Water Style : Water Fang Bullet!" I shouted.

A large mass of surging water came gushing from behind towards the yellow haired boy.

" Water style : Storm Upheaval"

I widened my eyes and shifted my gaze till they settled on the posed Kakashi who held his hands in a seal position as water came crashing down instantly on the yellow haired boy, knocking the wind out of him.

Both our techniques were more than enough to cancel his weak technique in comparison to ours.

Kakashi actually helped Obito?
And he acted like he didn't care at all earlier.. seems like someone has a soft spot after all.

I thought, smirking.

" Seems like you do care huh? " I chuckled, grinning widely.

Kakashi seemed stunned by my statement as he raised an inquisitive brow at me.

" What?"

I deadpanned.

Just as he were about to answer, our attention diverted towards a squealing Obito.

" HEYY! A little help here! "

He said in between gurgles, semi-drowning in the massive amount of water our combined ninjutsus have brought.

I quickly pulled Obito out of the water and leaped onto a taller tree, freeing him with a kunai.

" Th...thanks Kasumi.."

He muttered shyly.

I grinned at him and used a wind technique to drain the massive amount of water below us.

Horse Ram Snake

" Fuuton- Daitoppa ! " ( Wind element- great breakthrough)

I muttered, bringing my hands to my mouth, I inhaled and blew a large blast of wind.

The strong wind proceeded to carry the water towards the river bank nearby as I backflipped and landed on the now, dry ground.
