I soon met with the lady who sent out the job request, tracked down this family ring that was stolen, and was now going to a bar where the thief was known to frequent.

"Hey, I'm going with you." Gray said as I buckled some heels on.

"Why? I mean sure, come along, but why?" I asked.

"In case anything goes wrong. I don't want to deal with Lucy or flame brain if something happens to you." He said.

"Also, why are you dressing up?" He asked and I went over to him and held his cheek with a smile.

"Because, Gray, your about to get an up close and personal look at my powers." I smiled and we went onto the bar, splitting up.

I soon caught sight of the thief, who was in fact, wearing the ring he stole.

I smirked and sat near where he was with some other tough looking guys. I made sure my chest looked perky and I had some skin showing.

"Say," I caught his attention. "What's a girl gotta do to get a drink 'round here?" I asked, flipping my hair over my shoulder. I saw him check me out, and I lightly bit my lip and gave him hooded eyes.

He raised his hand and crooked his finger to me, telling me to come over, so I got up and went over, sitting on his lap.

"And what can I do for you, sweetcheeks?" He asked as his hand came into contact with my ass.

"You could buy me a drink, but you know what you could really do for me?" I asked and held eye contact.

"Yeah, what's that?" He was already drawn into me. Sucker.

"Give me the ring you stole." I smiled, my forehead nearly touching his.

He silently slipped it off his pinky finger and handed it over. I smiled and slipped off him, grabbed Gray's hand and dragged him out.

"That fast?" He asked and I showed him the ring.

"That fast." I smiled and we went onto the lady's house so I could get paid.

After she thanked me about twenty times and just piled bills into my hands, we soon left for Magnolia again.

"Hey... Baz..." Gray looked nervous.

"Yeah?" I asked as we walked through the town. "What is it?"

"Are... are you a chemist because I want to do you periodically on a table." He stuttered and I smiled over at him, my cheeks heating up a bit.

"Gray, you're cute, but..." I started.

"I'm a botanist and all I wanna do is chloro-fill you." He spat out and I bit my lip, trying not to laugh.

"Any others?" I asked.

"One." He admitted.

"Hit me."

"I don't know if you study the stars, but the odds of you coming home with me tonight are astronomical." He said, and I leaned forward and touched my lips to his in a kiss.

When I pulled back, Gray was frozen with pink cheeks, and a stupid smile. I sighed and smiled to myself, then took his hand and continued walking us along.

Gray was silent nearly the whole time until we were at the edge of Magnolia.

"Wait, does that mean you like me?" He asked and I chuckled to myself.

"Sure, Gray. I like you." I nodded, and he seemed about as excited as a kid on Christmas.

"Can I, uh, kiss you...?" He asked slowly and very awkwardly.

"Alright." I shrugged and he brought my face towards his with his hand and I felt his lips meet mine, so I welcomed them, kissing him back, holding onto his coat in my fists to bring him closer to me.

The kiss slowly came to a close, and we parted, but still stayed close, holding each other.

"You're really pretty and I like you." He fumbled for words, which I found adorable.

"You're a dork, Gray. A cute dork." I smiled, combing through his hair with my fingers.

"Can I be your dork, though?" He gave a playboy smile to convince me further.

"Sure." I said and pecked his lips a last time, then took his hand. "Let's get back to Fairy Tail."

Geez, that was anticlimatic.
