After getting back to the guild, dragging Wendy and Carla with us because they now didn't have a guild, I dragged Natsu home and got him to start cleaning up around the place.

"Why?" He asked, picking up anyway.

"Cos we're moving mom in." I smiled and he stood up and stared at me. "Gray was right. She can help me, us," I corrected quickly. "With this. She can't afford to get a new place, and we have tons of room, so why not just move her in?" I shrugged and he smiled.

"That's a great idea! Wait." Natsu paused. "Is Gray moving in with us?"

"Maybe. Possibly. We haven't decided yet... I mean, if it's okay with you." I said, and Natsu came over and put his hand on my shoulder.

"If that would make you happy." He said and I beamed and hugged him tightly.

"You're too good to me. Thank you, Natsu." I said and kissed his forehead.

"Let's go get mom." He took my hand and we raced out, not even bothering to pack.

We got a carriage and got there at dinner time, and it took me a little while to pluck up the courage and explain it all to mom, and thankfully, Natsu helped me out.

"So you're back with Gray, and you're pregnant? Three months already? Jesus Christ, Baz. Damn." Mom sat back and looked at me in shock.

"I only found out I had a bun in the oven yesterday, so." I admitted with a shrug. "Can you help me raise it? Gray and I are too young to do it on our own, but we don't want to get rid of it." I said and placed a hand on my stomach.

Mom sighed and gave me a warm smile. "You didn't even have to ask. Of course I will, sweetie."

By the next day, she was moved into our house and Team Natsu was helping Gray move his shit in as well. Mom was treating him nice enough, but she was obviously still mad at him from when we first broke up.

No one had told the rest of the guild yet, so everyone was pretty much confused when we all came back and they were treating me like I was made of eggshells.

"How do you want to tell them?" Gray asked, playing with my hand as we lied in bed one night.

"I have no fucking idea." I sighed, closing my eyes briefly.

"You know I plan on marrying you, right?" Gray said, which totally took me by surprise. "Not now, obviously, I still wanna wait a few years. But when the kid is grown a bit and can be part of our wedding." Gray looked at the ceiling as I looked at him, both of us smiling.

"I like the sound of that." I sighed and curled up closer to him.

The very next day, I just got up on the stage and grabbed the mic, getting everyone's attention.

"Hey! Listen up!" I called and the hall went silent. "I'm not singing today, I just wanted to make an announcement."

"Oh God, she's doing it." Lucy said and I grinned.

"Hell yeah, I'm doing it." I said and put on a stern face. "If you thought I was pissy before, wait for these next six months, because I am three months pregnant, fuckers." I said and it was drop dead silent.

"What?!" Gajeel called from the back after a moment, which caused most everyone to go into a frenzy. I just smirked and went to hop off the stage, but Gray came and lifted me down.

"I don't think four feet is gonna kill the baby." I said once he set me on my feet.

"I'm not taking any chances." Gray grinned before kissing my head.

"So when are you gonna get married?" Mira rushed over to our table to ask.

"Not at least for a couple years. Maybe." I said.

"Wait, you've already talked about this? Don't you need my blessing or something?" Natsu asked.

"Why would I need your blessing?" Gray asked.

"I'm her only male family." Natsu said, putting a protective arm around my shoulders. "And I say you aren't worthy of her hand yet."

"Natsu..." I sighed, rolling my eyes, then grinned at Wendy as she laughed. "Enjoying the show, little one?" I asked.

"Yeah. You all are funny." She said.

"It suddenly makes sense why you wanted to adopt Wendy when you first saw her." Gray hummed, holding my back.

"I guess. But doesn't that motherly instincts thing kick in later?" I asked.

"Different times for different women." Mom answered. "Some get it late in the third trimester, as the birth is getting close, but I started having instincts late in my first trimester. I guess you'd be the same." Mom shrugged.

"Thanks for the genes, mom." I smiled over at her.

"My pleasure." She raised her bourbon glass to me before taking a sip.

"Ugh, I have nightmares when I think about how much I drank in the last three months. What if that fucks the kid up?" I said and Gray rubbed my arm.

"I'm sure the baby will be fine." He assured me.

"I dunno, Baz was drinking like four steins of beer a day, and that is not counting the drinks she had at night." Lucy said and I winced.

"We'll get regular checkups to see if it's doing alright." Mom said and I nodded.

Everything finally seemed to be fitting into place.
