The next day, Natsu and I walked to the guild, arm in arm, chatting happily about what was to come for our futures.

"Ugh, I'm so hungry. We need to buy groceries on our way back home." I said.

"Yeah... you ate all our food last night." Natsu teased, smirking at me.

"I was hungry! And when was the last time you bought groceries, huh, Natsu?" I said.

"I don't know! I think Happy buys the groceries..." he hummed as we walked in.

"Well, we need groceries. I also need money... I'm going broke with all the shit I bought for you yesterday." I grumbled as we sat at a booth.

"I told you I could've bought it!" He yelled at me.

"With what money? You were in such a rush to get out of the house you left your money at home!" I snapped.

"Well good thing you always have boob money with you." He rolled his eyes and Mira brought us two beers along with our friends, and that's when we realised half the guild was staring at us arguing.

"Uh, thanks, Mira." I smiled.

"Yeah, thanks, Mira." Natsu bit his lip, cheeks pink.

"Do I hear wedding bells for you two?" Elfman asked, and we both immediately voiced our disgust.

"Ew, Gods no! I already have to live with him. I don't wanna be married to him!" I said.

"Oh, like you have anywhere else to stay?" Natsu argued with me.

"Yeah, I do, if you believe forgotten." I rolled my eyes.

"That's just a bed, not an actual place." He rolled his eyes, and I nearly slapped him.

"Whoa, out of line, Natsu." Gray stepped in.

"Sorry." He quickly apologised.

"Bout to say, after all I did for you..." I huffed, and he grinned.

"Yeah, I owe you for that! What do ya want?" He asked, leaning forward. "More stew?"

I put my hand on his, leaving forward as well. "Natsu, as much as I love your stew, I will literally puke if I eat it one more time. It's basically all I've eaten since moving here." I said and he nodded.

"Understandable. Then what?" He asked.

"I dunno yet. All I'm thinking about is going on a job. We need money for food and stuff." I said and he nodded.

"I'll look at the board for us." He said and got up.

"Thank you!" I called and sipped my beer, avoiding the looks I was getting.

"I have to ask. Are you and Natsu... together? Like, a couple?" Mira asked.

"Ha! No. I'm taken by someone else, and so is he." I spilled the tea, and everyone began flipping out.

"Aw, thanks, Baz!" Natsu called.

"My pleasure." I grinned back.

"Wait, you're dating someone! I thought you and Natsu liked each other!" Lucy gasped.

"Wait, what? Flame brain is actually with someone?" Gray gasped.

"Wait, aren't you two still sleeping together?" Erza and half the guild asked.

Natsu came back to stand by my side so we could explain. "We are not a couple." He said. "But we do sleep together, like in the same bed."

"Yeah, we don't fuck. He's just my space heater, and another reason that I prefer to keep private." I said and he gave me a sideways look.

"I haven't heard of this." He mumbled.

"I'll tell you later, shut up. Get back to the subject." I said, looking at him as well before we turned back to the others.

"Wait, so who are you two dating?" Gajeel asked.

"It isn't obvious?" Levy asked with a giggle. "Natsu and Lucy, and Baz and Gray." She said and they all nodded, now seeing how obvious it was.

"Wait! When did this happen? Why wasn't I there, Natsu?" Happy whined.

"Because Baz was taking care of it." He shrugged and I smacked his shoulder, then glanced at Lucy, and he blushed and turned away.

"Oh, you planned the date!" Lucy gasped. "That's why you were asking for my favourite flowers and food! And the bouquet and the note... that's why I didn't recognise your handwriting! I've never seen it before. And that picnic, and the fire... that was all you, Baz?" Lucy's eyes were filling with tears.

"The one and only." I smiled, then elbowed Natsu. "You've gotta admit, I'm the best wingwoman ever."

"Oh, definitely." He nodded and Lucy hugged me tightly, knocking me backwards a little.

"Thank you so so much, Baz! You know, I was worried when you came, you and Natsu were so close. I thought you were going to steal him away." She sniffled and I rubbed her back with a smile.

"No way, Luce. Even my first day here and I knew he was head over heels for you. Honestly, he doesn't shut up about you." I said and she giggled as Natsu blushed.

"Shut up! That's private!" He groaned, then smirked. "You say one more thing about it, and I might just let slip about your stripping habit at home." He said and I glared.

"Natsu, don't you dare...!" I yelled and hit him as he laughed.

"Anyway, I found us a job." He sighed, and I perked up.
