So now Gray and I were in his bed, lightly kissing, just about as comfortable as could be. There was no dominance war in our kiss, just our lips pressing together and tongues gently rolling along each other. It was pure bliss like I'd never felt before.
"You sure you don't hate me?" Gray broke the kiss for a moment, and I opened my eyes to see his still closed, forehead against mine.
"Nope. Pretty sure I love you." I grinned and he kissed me again as we sat together.
"I don't think I'll ever tire of hearing that." He sighed and dragged his soft, now swollen lips across my cheek, and I smiled, happy as could be. "Why'd you leave this morning?"
"I didn't know how to handle it. I didn't know how you'd take it." I shook my head. "It was stupid, I'm sorry." I sighed and he smiled and kissed my forehead.
"It's okay. It got us here, didn't it?" He asked and I smiled and nodded. "This is real, right? You're not messing with me?" Gray grew worried.
"No, this is real." I nodded confidently.
Gray just smiled and pulled me back in for a kiss before just holding me to him, and I relaxed into his arms.
"Okay, last time, you're sure this is real?" He asked and I laughed as he pressed his lips against my hair. "I'm sorry, it just doesn't seem real. I've been dreaming of having you back in my arms for a month and a half now."
So I sat up again and held his face in my hands, forcing him to look at me. "Last time, Gray. This is real, I love you, and I'm not going anywhere." I said and pressed a quick kiss to his lips.
"Well, I'll stay until I have to go back home because Natsu worries, you know how he is." I said and Gray chuckled, forehead pressed against the side of my face as he brought me closer between his legs.
"I'm glad that flame brain found family with you. Glad you found family in him. You two make a good pair." He hummed and I smiled.
"Thanks. And you do know I only see him as family, right?" I asked and Gray laughed a little louder.
"Never doubted you for a second." He swore, pressing a kiss to my shoulder. "When do you have to go?"
"Well, seeing as I kind of walked out of the guild unexpectedly... did anyone see you follow me?" I asked.
"Yes. Everyone." He nodded.
"Shit. Then I'd have to say soon before Natsu goes on a rampage to find me." I hummed, and he kept his lips pressed against my shoulder, arms tight around me.
"I don't want you to leave." He mumbled.
"You can come with me, idiot." I said and he looked up to meet my eyes.
"And get the talk and threats from Natsu all over again? No thanks." He shook his head.
I chuckled and slid out of bed, pulling him with me. "I'll protect you, Gray. Say I already gave you the talk." I said as we went to the door, and we were a foot out before I turned and looked at him. "Because if you do pull any of that shit again, I will not hesitate to kill you this time." I warned and he nodded.
"I don't doubt you. And I won't." Gray said and kissed my head, so I smiled and kept walking down the road, our hands joined together.
"Baz!" It didn't take us long to find Natsu, and he tackled me in a hug outside of Fairy Tail, ripping me from Gray.
I landed on the ground with a groan and Natsu looked down on me. "You didn't throw yourself off a cliff, did you?" He asked and I laughed.
"No, Natsu, I didn't." I smiled and he gave a glance to Gray, who was standing a few feet away with Lucy, Erza, and Happy.
"Did you tell you know who you know what?" He asked and I smiled.
"Yes." I nodded and his eyebrow quirked. "And we're back together." I rolled my eyes.
Natsu was now openly looking at Gray. "And he knows that he if he hurts you in any way or makes you cry I'll kill him?" He asked.
"I can list everyone who will kill me in alphabetical order if I hurt her, which I do not intend on doing again." Gray nodded.
"Good. Then it's all settled." Natsu stood up and lifted me onto my feet again. I was about to walk over, but Natsu his arm around my neck to hold me in place.
"Just remember, Gray, you're not the only person here who loves her." Natsu growled.
"I know that, flame brain. Can you not strangle Baz?" Gray reached for me, and Natsu reluctantly released me as Gray took my hand again, slipping his arm around my waist.
"So I guess the only question is, what now?" Lucy hummed.
