Turns out what was next was Team Natsu, including me, being sent to fight some dark guild called Oracion Seis, and Lucy (as usual) was complaining.

"Look, it's no picnic for me either, so quit pouting, would ya?" Gray said from next to me.

"It's not supposed to be a picnic, it's a fucking mission." I reminded them. "And Lucy, you fight fine."

We got there at the rendezvous point, and it was creepy at first, but then the lights came on and it was creepier.

"They're here at last!" A voice said and had some echoes. "Hello! Fairy! Tail! Wizards!" And a random spotlight shone on three dudes in suits.

"Oh, nice. Shoujo boys, just what we need." I pursed my lips together as Gray snickered next to me as Lucy fangirled over them, and Natsu was still sick.

They began flirting with Erza, then Lucy, and I stuck beside Gray and Natsu, hoping they wouldn't start with me.

"A lady such as yourself shouldn't be around such brutes." Ren said to me, holding one of my hands up in his, and I just raised my eyebrow. "Come sit." He pulled me away.

"You know, I was fine where I was... oh, okay." I was so lost as I was seated between Erza and Lucy.

"Well, you ladies must be exhausted. Feel free to spend the night." Hideki announced and they all posed. "We don't mind."

"Gray! Help!" I called and he came over and lifted me up, taking me away.

"Calm down, men. Give these ladies some breathing room." Another voice said and I groaned.

"Please don't tell me there's another one." I said and Gray chuckled and rubbed my arm.

"Is it that bad?" He asked.

"Almost as bad as those pick-up lines you used to use on me." I grinned.

"Oh my... I said I was sorry!" He sighed as I snickered.

"It seems destiny has brought us together, Miss Erza, Miss Lucy, you two not so much, and I don't know you." He looked at me with some sorta perverted look.

"I don't want you to know me." I stepped backwards into Gray a little more.

"Listen up you Blue Pegasus playboy wannabe's, you'd be wise to keep your hands off our princesses, we clear?" Gray called.

"Crystal. Now leave." The man said and Gray growled.

"We're here on serious business! Can you pretty boys even fight?" Gray challenged them, stepping to my side.

"You wanna find out?" Ren said.

"A fight?! Well, count me in!" Natsu shouted, suddenly not sick anymore.

"Everybody calm down we need..." Erza shut up when that short dude came up and started sniffing her, so she punched him away.

He sailed towards the doorway where a dude froze his head in his hand. "You greet us with this flying buffoon?" He asked and Gray gasped and tensed beside me.

"Leon." Gray growled.

"Gray." This Leon guy seemed a little surprised, then tossed the shorty aside.

"What is wrong with you?!" Gray asked.

"You know him?" I asked Gray.

"We go way back, Baz. Stay back." Gray huffed, still glaring at him. Then the carpet started to rise up and hit Lucy.

"Sherri? No way!" Lucy looked at her, and then everyone started pairing off to fight. Erza and shorty, Lucy and Sherri, and Gray and Leon. Natsu was beside me, just looking for a fight, and I was trying to figure out what the fuck was happening.

"Enough! We're here to work together as a group! This is not the time to fight amongst ourselves." A man said.

"So we have members from three guilds. Looks like Cait Shelter has yet to arrive." The man, Jura, said. I just sighed and sat down cross legged on the carpet.

"Yes, about that... I heard they were only sending one person." Shorty said. I wasn't even going to bother learning his name, he could fuck off.

"Who knows how long that'll take... hey, Gray. C'mere." I said and waved my finger, and he came over and I pulled him down to whisper in his ear. "Wanna go find the bathroom and have a quickie?" I whispered.

He pulled back and sighed. "No. I mean yes, but no." He said and I frowned.

"You're no fun." I pouted.

"Well, Cait Shelter is supposed to be here any minute, then we have to go over a plan and then deploy. There isn't exactly enough time." He shrugged and I nodded, still frowning.

"Who is she?" Leon asked.

"Hi, I'm Baz. I'm not really that important, I'm not even completely sure why I'm here. My magic isn't even that good for fighting..." I shrugged, raising my hand to him like in a wave.

"Oh, bullshit, Baz. You don't need magic to fight, you're just... you're just good at fighting." Gray grinned.

"Scary good at fighting. We remember what you did to Juvia." Natsu grinned down on me. "Why are you sitting?"

"Back hurts from the ride." I shrugged, then someone came in, tripped and fell on the carpet.

We all turned to look as a little girl with blue hair picked herself up and smiled at us. I blushed and stood up as she dusted herself off.

"I want to adopt her." I said and both Gray and Natsu stared.

"We don't- we don't even know her." Gray said.

"I don't care, I love her. I'm adopting her." I shook my head.

"Hi..." she said shakily, and we looked back at her. "I uh, I'm sorry I got here so late... I've come from the Cait Shelter guild. My name's Wendy." She smiled.

"I love her." I sighed.
