Oops (Gray x OC)

C.20

I woke up with the covers thrown off me and Natsu instead covering me like a blanket.

"Natsu." I hummed, not opening my eyes.

"What." He mumbled.

"Get the fuck off me. I'm suffocating." I said and he rolled over on his side, leaving me cold.

"Natsu, you dick, you stole all the blankets!" I huffed.

"Jesus, you are needy." He huffed at me.

"Natsu, I just woke up. I am not fighting with you this early." I growled, then we both shut up as we heard the other three laughing, already up and ready for the day.

"It's not like it matters. You two have to get up anyway." Erza said and pulled the blankets off of us both.

I groaned, getting up, and I pulled on some pants and took the huge shirt off, which made Lucy and Erza yell in alarm.

"What?" Natsu and I asked, and I saw he was also getting dressed, which made Gray yell.

"Go in the bathroom or something!" Lucy said.

"What? I'm not embarrassed." I shrugged. "Three out of the five of you have seen me without clothes on, and the other two are girls." I shrugged.

"What do you mean?" Lucy stood up.

"She has a stripping habit, like Gray. Only she doesn't do it in public." Natsu said and I hit him on his bare shoulder.

"What did I tell you about keeping your mouth shut, Natsu?!" I huffed.

I finished and did my makeup as fast as I could and then we were off to meet this man, who was a famous singer. When we went into his house, the first thing I noticed were how bloodshot and teary his eyes were, probably from crying so much.

"Sir? Hello. We're wizards from Fairy Tail, and we've come to save your daughter." I said and he looked up hopefully.

"You are?" He sniffled.

"Of course. We're going to get her back as soon as possible." I smiled kindly, hopefully providing some comfort.

He suddenly got up and crushed me in a hug, and I froze up before patting his back awkwardly.

"Thank you so much! My angel, she's the light of my world. I dont know what to do without her." He sobbed.

"Of course. We need her name and the island she was taken to. Then we'll handle everything else." I said and he backed up and wiped his nose and under his eyes.

"Of course. Her name is Dominique, and she was taken to Griggs Island." He said and I nodded.

"Thank you, sir. We'll get your Dominique back." I said and we left.

"Now all we have to do is find a boat..." I hummed.

So we went around asking fishermen and people with boats if they would give us a ride over, and none of them would.

"Ugh, why not?!" I groaned.

"Well, it's haunted." A fisherman shrugged.

"Who gives a shit about ghosts or whatever?" I said and grabbed his face, looking deep into his eyes. "You will give us a ride over to Griggs Island." I said and he slowly nodded.

"Get in..." He said and prepared the boat to take off. We got in with our bags of stuff and soon we were off.

"You know, you're kinda scary when you do your magic thing." Natsu said from beside me.

"Yeah?" I asked, furrowing my brows.

"Yeah, your eyes get all glowing and gold, and you look so serious. It's scary." He said.

"I mean, I've gotta concentrate to get into someone's head to make them do what I want." I said.

"Isn't it kinda creepy, your magic? Making people do things against their will?" Lucy asked.

"It's not like I make people do bad things like kill or rape or something. And besides, they're still technically in control. All my magic is is making their mind more vulnerable and accepting of orders. They do have a choice to not do anything, so there's no way they can go against their morals or will." I explained.

"It's complicated magic, I'll admit. Especially with my philosophies about magic, I have to be careful." I said.

"What philosophies?" Erza asked.

"I have three. One, magic always comes with a price. Two, magic always comes back on itself. Three, magic is a privilege, not a right, and it can be taken away."
