Oops (Gray x OC)

Natsu and Happy had to literally carry me to the guild because I was so worried that everyone hated me after what I did.

So now we were walking through town, getting a bunch of looks because I was over Natsu's shoulder with his arm around my hips and his other hand holding my thighs to keep me in place.

"I don't get what you're so worried about, Baz." He said.

"Oh you mean other than beating the shit out of Juvia because I got jealous then snapped at Lucy?" I asked.

"Well, you sent her those flowers and that card, right? And I mean, I know you're sorry. You've just gotta apologise to Juvia when she's awake, which she should be by now." He said and then stopped walking.

I lifted my head and saw we were in front of the doors, and I grew nervous. "Please put me down. I can't do this. Not today. Please, Natsu, one more day..." I begged and he set me down and held me in place in front of him.

"No, Baz. You're doing it today. Know why?" He asked and I didn't answer. "Because if I let you take today off, too, you'd keep asking for one more day, and then you'd never get it done and over with, and it would remain unresolved. So you need to man up and go in there and apologise. And make sure you mean it." He said and I smiled.

"You're right. Okay." I sighed.

"That's my Baz." He flipped my hair with his hand and pushed open the door and we walked in.

I kept my head down and eyes to myself as we walked to our usual table, Natsu's hand on my back, guiding me along.

"Hey, where were you guys yesterday?" Lucy asked and I couldn't make myself look at her.

"Just took a small trip. Just to cheer Baz up." Natsu said and patted my shoulder.

"Baz? Cheer her up?" A voice said, and I still couldn't look up. "Let me get this straight. She beats up Juvia, brings her an inch from death, and you decide to take her on vacation? To cheer her up? Like she's the one who needs cheering up?"

"Look, Baz feels really guilty about that, and she's sorry. You don't know how torn up she was after." Natsu defended me.

"Like Juvia wasn't torn up? Literally torn up? You should've seen the marks that girl left on her. You ask me, she should see someone for that."

Erza was about to call him out, but fell silent when she heard a small sob escape my lips. Gray was immediately at my side, arm around my shoulders, and Lucy took my hands in hers.

"That was out of line, man-" Gray started to yell.

"No, Gray, don't. He's right." I stopped him.

"Baz, don't talk crazy. He just-" Gray tried to say.

"He's speaking his mind, and he's right." I said, and slipped one of my hands from Lucy's hold to wipe my cheeks before looking up.

"Mira, is Juvia awake?" I asked and she nodded. I took a breath and stood up, going into the infirmary and closed the door.

Juvia looked up from the farthest bed and didn't say a word until I sat down in the chair beside her bed.

"Did you send these flowers?" She asked and I nodded, gazing at them. They still looked as fresh as the day I got them.

"They're beautiful. Juvia was just about to water them." She said and lifted one of her hands over it, and a stream of water fell from her fingertip, filling the vase.

"I'm really sorry, Juvia, about... y'know. Doing this to you. I behaved immature, and you obviously didn't deserve it, and I am very sorry." I apologised with what I could say in my breaking voice.

"You have feelings for Gray-sama." She said and I nodded. "Gray-sama has feelings for you. Juvia didn't know you were in a relationship with him, so Juvia was out of bounds."

"You didn't know, it's not your fault. I was just jealous..." I sighed, shaking my head.

"Juvia is also sorry about what she said to you. That was wrong." She said and I looked up.

"I forgive you, of course I do. Do you forgive me? I don't blame you if you don't..." I said.

"Juvia forgives Baz-chan." She said and I looked up with a huge smile.

"Thank you so much, Juvia. You have no idea how much that means to me. We don't have to be friends if you don't want to, but I am willing to try...?" I offered, hoping I wasn't pushing it.

"With anger like that, Juvia wants Baz-chan as a friend for protection when the time comes." She said and I laughed a little.

"When the time comes then." I nodded in agreement. "Is there anything you need before I go back?" I asked and she shook her head. "Alright. I'll see you later then." I said and she bid me goodbye and I stepped back out to the guild hall and sat down, exhaling deeply.

Natsu, sitting next to Lucy and holding her to him, looked at me. "How'd it go?" He asked nervously.

I looked up at him with a smile. "It's all good." I said and he sighed in relief.

"I told you you could do it, Baz!" He slammed his hand on the table and I grinned.

"She even said she wants me as a friend so I can use my anger to protect her when the time comes." I said and bit my lip as he laughed loudly.

Gray even chuckled a bit and kissed my cheek with his arm around my neck, pulling me into him. "Well, I guess that's one reason to keep you around. It's why we keep Natsu around, for damn sure." He teased. I blushed with a smile and swatted him away.

So everything was good.
