C.55 - Epilogue

I sat up in a room, looking at my reflection and breathing deeply. I looked at the ring down on my hand and smiled. What was I so worried about in the first place?

I walked down the stairs into the guild hall, which had been transformed into an elegant party rather than the rambunctious mess it usually held.

"Where is mommy?" A small voice asked.

"She's getting ready. You know how mommy likes to look pretty." I heard the love of my life say to my daughter. Our daughter.

"Are you judging me?" I asked and he turned and I was met with those gorgeous blue eyes and a charming smile.

"Never in a million years. Look at you. You're beautiful." He said and held his hand out, which I took with a smile and he spun me.

"I dunno, Amelia might give me a run for my money." I said and lifted up my baby girl onto my hip. Alabaster skin with my green eyes and Gray's black locks. "She does have both of our good looks. I am not ready for boys to come chasing her." I said and tapped her nose as she giggled.

"Boys are gross." She said.

"Boys are gross, stay away from them." I nodded.

"Am I gross?" Gray asked and kissed me gently.

"Right now, you are." Natsu said and walked up.

"Uncle Natsu! Aunt Lucy!" Amelia climbed off of me to hug Lucy.

"You look great, Baz." Natsu brought me into a hug and kissed my cheek.

"Thanks, Natsu. Did you like the ceremony?" I asked after kissing his.

"He cried." Lucy smiled up at me from giving attention to Amelia. "It was beautiful, you guys. Congrats."

"Thanks, Lucy." I smiled at her and Amelia, before looking at Natsu. "You cried?" I asked.

"How could I not? Baby sister's married now." He said, hooking an arm around my neck and grinning.

"Natsu! My hair!" I whined as the hall filled with members of the guild coming to celebrate Gray's and my wedding that took place about twenty minutes ago.

"Don't go hurting her, dimwit!" Gray said and tried to get him off me.

"It's how we show love, Gray." Natsu said and I got myself out of his hold and smoothed down my dress and hair.

"You still look pretty, mommy." Amelia smiled up at me.

"Oh, thank you, baby. You're very pretty yourself. Did Aunt Lucy help you with that?" I picked her up again and she nodded.

"Aunt Lucy is pretty too." Amelia said and Lucy blushed.

"She is, isn't she?" I smiled and soon people came to congratulate Gray and I on finally tying the knot after all these years.

"Five years you've had to deal with him." Gajeel said, shaking his head.

"Six years Levy's had to deal with you." Gray shot back and Amelia was squirming in my arms, reaching for Gajeel. She loved his piercings.

"She wants to play with you, Gajeel." I said and he sighed and took her, holding her up above him as she laughed.

"You're lucky you're cute, kid." He said and she reached down to fiddle with a metal stud on the side of his nose. I put my hand over my mouth to hide a laugh, and Gajeel glared at me.

After greeting everyone and accepting congratulations, the party officially started and I snuck off to the table to grab some food. I got a little in before Natsu took my hand and pulled me out.
