The First time I watched Titanic I cried…

That is a true statement, that I am prepared to defend!

*I was sick at home at the time.

*I didn’t know what happened at all in the movie at all.

*The Year was 1998. (I was born in ’92 do the math)

*My tears were out of anger not sadness.

Let me explain that last point.

When I was younger (not anymore because I’m a man) I used to cry when I got really mad and couldn’t do anything to fix it. Now what in Titanic made me so mad that I started crying (some of it could have been stress too because I was sick)?

It was the part after the iceberg and everyone was getting into life boats. Rosie, Rose, whatever her name was, was already in a life boat, but half way down she jumps out, back onto the ship.

Now some may ask, Brooklyn, why did that make you mad? She did it for love.

My six year old self understood why she jumped, I still didn’t like it. They were half way filling the life boats and she was lucky enough to get a seat to be saved. And she goes and jumps off. Somebody else could have had that seat! (at the time I didn’t know that it was a fictional telling of a true story)

But I did like what happened with Mr. Mustache man. Jumping IN a lifeboat at the last second. I couldn’t find a video of that but I found on of him in case you don’t know who I’m talkin’ bout.

My Spring Break started tomorrow at 12pm after I finish my calculus test!!
