Margaret sat Keir and I down at the kitchen table after we returned from dress shopping.
"You guys need to set a date. So we send out invites." She said handing Keir a calendar.
"We have a date. This spring." Keir told her. Iaughed and grabbed the calendar from him.
"I meant a day." Margaret rolled her eyes.
"Oh."
"How about April 15 or 16?" I asked.
"The following week is spring break." Keir smiled. "I like it! Ireland here we come."
"What?" Margaret asked.
"I'm taking Harper to Ireland for our honeymoon."
"Oh lovely!" She clapped her hands.
"I like the 16th. It's a Saturday." I spoke as I closed the calendar.
"Works for me!"
"Good. Now we need a guest list." Margaret stated picking up a pen and writing the date down.
"Mum." Keir said catching her attention. "We want a small wedding. Just us, you and dad, my bothers and sister in-laws, Mr. and Mrs Wood."
"You don't want any friends?" She frowned.
"Don't have any." I shrugged.
"I have friends at the school, but I can't really invite them, now can I?" Keir said softly.
"I suppose not. But what about your friends at home?"
"I can't afford to fly everyone out here." He frowned.
"Okay." She said writing something down.
"Have you gotten a dress?" Keir asked me.
"Yes. I'm all set." His eyes lit up. "No, you cannot see it." I laughed as his face dropped.
We went on for hours discussing plans. Colors, where it would take place, and so on. Keir and I were both thankful when Margaret's homemade meatloaf was finished.
It was pushing eight o'clock by the time we finished eating. Margaret said she was tired, so Keir and I cleaned up while she went to bed.
"You were gone awhile today." Keir said standing behind me as I put the dishes away.
"I was looking for the perfect wedding dress." I felt his arms wrap around me. I smiled at his touch.
"Did you find it?"
"Yes."
"Good. Now I need a suit."
"You have plenty." I laughed.
"No." He growled. "I need a new suit for this very special occasion."
"Okay, okay." I giggled as his bead tickled my neck. I felt and heard him sigh. "What's up, buttercup?" I questioned spinning around.
He smirked. "Nothing's wrong. I just want to spend some alone time with you. This week has been horrible. Between school, your homework, my mum, and wedding things, I haven't gotten any princess loving."
I smiled at the old nickname and pecked his lips.
"Ah, Ah, ah." He tisked pulling me by the belt loop of my pants back to him. "I'm in desperate need of some kisses from my soon to be wife." He pushed his lips to mine quickly and roughly.
Soon the kiss turned passionate and deep. Keir grabbed my butt and picked me up. My legs instantly wrapped around him. He started walking, never breaking the kiss. He set me down on something hard. I could only guess that it was either the table or the counter top. He ran his hands up my sides making me shutter. I pulled at his hair gently, earning a groan from him.
I pulled away to breath, while he stared at me. "Y'know I still get those butterflies when we kiss?" He said softly.
"I do too. I hope they never go away or fade."
He nodded his head in agreement. "I firmly believe that you are my one and only soulmate."
I grabbed his face and kissed him hard. "I love you so much Keir Cedric O'Connor."
He smiled widely and replied. "I love you just as much Harper Rae Wood."
I smiled again and hopped off the counter top.
