I set the extra plate, cup and utensils down on the only empty seat at the table, next to me. Brad's mother smiled a thank you as I took my seat.

"How long do we have to wait?" Carter groaned.

"You are nineteen, nearly twenty years old. Stop whining like a child." His mother scolded. Brad snickered while Carter mumbled something under his breath.

The doorbell rang and Brad's father quickly got up and went to get it.

"Who's coming?" Brad asked his mother.

"Not sure. You know how your father is." She smiled.

"It's probably number one." Carter said rolling his eyes.

"Number one?" I questioned.

"Yeah." He nodded. "The favorite."

"Carter Roland your father does not have a favorite!"

"Mhm sure." He said waving his mother off.

"There's another one of you?" I joked to Brad.

"Yup." He nodded. "My half bother. He's my fathers."

"Oh."

"He looks nothing like us though. Thank God."

Brad's mother ignored her sons and shot up from her chair when she heard her husband and the other guest walking towards the room. "Chad! So happy to see you!" I heard her say. I looked up in time to see her hugging Chad. I wanted to die.

"Sup?" Brad asked him extending his fist. Chad hit it with his and smiled.

"We have a guest this evening. So Carter be on your best behavior." Brad's father said sternly.

"Yes father." Carter said looking down at the table.

My eyes met Chad's and I wanted to die right then and there. He smirked and walked over. "Hello there gorgeous." He sat down next to me. "We need to stop meeting like this, or people will talk."

"I feel like you're stalking me." I told him.

"No." He laughed. "But I believe this is fate." He whispered in my ear. I ignored him and turned my attention to Brad across the table. I wished I could just leave but it would be rude. I wanted to call Keir, but with Chad being a teacher I was certain he would report us. I would just have to suck it up.

I grinded my teeth and tensed as I felt Chad's hand on my thigh.....again. Thankfully dinner was over and quickly offered to do the dishes. Brad's mom was reluctant but gave in once Chad said he would help me.

I sighed as I carried the plates and utensils into the kitchen. Chad followed behind me with the cups. He placed them down by the sink and I did the same. He opened up a drawer and pulled out a wash cloth and handed it to me.
