I woke up alone in the bed on the next morning. I didn't hear the shower so I figured he was in his office. I got up slowly and made my way to his office. The door was open a little so I peaked my head inside. He wasn't there. I walked around the apartment. I was alone. I shrugged and headed back into the bedroom to get dressed.

I decided that since he was gone, it was the perfect time to clean the place up before I had to get started on dinner. I started out in the kitchen, putting away dishes that were left out in the dish rack last night after I washed them. I pulled off the table cloth that was on the table and washed the table. I washed the counters and then swept the floor. I grabbed the mop and quickly washed the floor.

I then moved into the family room, where I vacuumed the couch and chair and then the floor. I dusted off the shelves and the television stand. I even cleaned off the television. I walked from the room, on my way to clean the bathroom, when I ended up turning around and heading back to the family room. I pushed the couch and chair across the room. I picked up the coffee table and carried it into the kitchen. I unplugged the television and moved it and the stand to another spot. After I was satisfied with where the television was I moved the couch and the chair back into the room and adjusted them. After I finished I retrieved the coffee table and put it down in front of the couch.

I made my way to the bathroom, where I gave the shower a good scrubbing. I put the cleaner into the toilet bowl and scrubbed that as well. I disinfected the entire out side of the toilet, while the cleaner did it's thing inside the bowl. I turned my attention to the sink and rolled my eyes when I saw that Keir had left the cap open on the toothpaste again. Snickering to myself I replaced it and put the toothpaste and Keir's toothbrush in their respected places in the holder. I cleaned off the sink and disinfected it. Before I exited the room I flushed the toilet.

I glanced at the clock when as I entered the kitchen. It was pushing 1 o'clock and Keir still wasn't home. I wasn't really worried, but normally he would leave me a note or at least a text. I grabbed my phone to see if he did indeed send me a text. Nothing. I frowned and got to work on preparing dinner for this evening.

As the turkey sat in the oven cooking, I turned my attention back to cleaning. I had his office, our bedroom and the guest room to do. I took care of the guest room first. I headed to our room next. I changed the bedding in both rooms and decided to do a load of laundry. I put fresh sheets on our bed and kept the guest bed empty. I would return to it at a later date, not like we had guests over.

I opened the ajar door to his office fully and stepped inside the room. My eyes landed on the bookshelf, so I walked over and began dusting it. Once finished I headed over to his desk and picked up the papers he had scattered around it. I laughed and put them aside so I could wash the wooden desk. After I wiped it dry I organized the papers and placed them back on his desk. I left to retrieve the vacuum from our bedroom and vacuumed the carpet.

I returned back to the family room and turned on the television. I was tired, but I still had cooking to do, and then cleaning after. I checked my phone one more time before tossing it to the side. After awhile I stood up off the chair and walked into the kitchen to baste the turkey.

The door to the apartment opened and as much as I wanted to be mad at him, I couldn't help but smile.

"Hey  there princess." Came his sweet voice from the other end of the kitchen. I spun around to face him. "Sorry I didn't leave you a note." He frowned, no doubt seeing the anger behind my eyes. "I got you these." He pulled out a few lilies from behind his back. I gasped and walked over. "I've been hunting around for them all day."

Suddenly all anger I had at him vanished as I took hold of the flowers. "Really?" I questioned.

"Yeah." He nodded. "I wanted to do something special for you and all I could think of was flowers. You do so much for me and I greatly appreciate it." He looked away as his cheeks began growing pink.

"Thank you." I smiled, reaching up and kissing his lips softly.

"What did you do while I was gone?" He asked taking his coat off and putting it into the coat closet just off the kitchen.

"Cleaned."

"Really?" He questioned. I nodded as he walked into the family room. "I like this better than how it was before." I heard him say. I smiled and continued what I was doing.

We ate dinner after it was finished. Then we headed into the family room to watch an action movie Keir picked out. I was exhausted and ended up falling asleep during the movie. I woke up sometime later in bed with Keir snoring softly beside me.
