On Sunday I spent the surprisingly warm day cleaning out Keir's car. While he worked on grading papers and doing his lesson plan for the week.

Sundays were normally days where he'd stay in his office and work on school things. It was also a day I did my homework, but since I did it all Friday after school, I had the day off.

I didn't want to bother Keir, so I decided I would clean out his car for him. He was good at keeping the apartment clean, but his car was an entirely different story.

Monday was off to an awesome start. I slipped in the shower and hit my head pretty hard. I couldn't call out for Keir, because he had already left.

After I got dressed I stepped in a puddle of water and had to change my socks. As I brushed my teeth toothpaste got into my eye and it stung like heck.

It appeared to be one of those days. Until I got to school, where the bad luck disappeared.

Lunch time came and I found myself sitting alone at the table in the corner. I had been here since school started three months ago and I still didn't have any friends. Not that I was looking. I couldn't actually tell anyone about my personal life, or really have anyone come over to my place.

I looked around the cafeteria as I ate. My eyes landed on a frustrated Keir walking towards me. He sat down next to me and sighed.

I began to panic. Why was he here? Did someone find out? He never comes to see me during school hours.

I glanced around the room. Only a few people were watching.

"Love, do you have the key to the apartment?" He asked quietly so only I could gear him.

"Yes why?" I nodded.

"I forgot my key and I need to go home."

"What, why?" I asked frightened.

"I got some ketchup on my shirt and I really want to soak it before it ruins."

"Go run it under water in the restroom."

He gave me a look and I shrugged. "I did that. Can I have the key please?"

"Sure." I reached for it my bag and began pulling my car keys out, but then I remembered where I was and stopped, looking around again.

"Just slide it in my hand." He said urgently. I took the key off the key chain and handed it to him. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." I said ad he stood up. He smiled and walked away, all eyes on him.

I sighed and began eating again. Everyone went back to what they were doing. No one paid any attention to me and I was glad.

English class rolled around and I found myself dragging my feet. I ended up being the last student to enter the class. Keir gave me a look but I ignored him and continued to my seat.

Once the second bell rang he held up papers and smirked. The class groaned as he handed out a surprise test.

It was clear that most of the class wasn't expecting a test and that's what Keir loved.

The class whizzed right by. After the test, we had to take more notes, and while we did that Keir graded the tests.
