I shuttered as I walked into the cold apartment. Something was wrong with the heat, and the landlord was taking his sweet old time fixing it.

I didn't bother taking off my jacket. I had no homework so I made myself comfortable on the couch with a book I was reading.

Normally when I got home from school I would get started on dinner, but it was payday for Keir, and he wanted to order pizza. I didn't argue with him, because I was able to take a break from cooking for one night.

After awhile I took off my coat and wrapped a blanket around me. I finished the book and put it on the coffee table. I would return it to the bookshelf in Keir's office later.

It had been forever since I logged into my Facebook, so I grabbed the laptop off the coffee table and logged on.

Nothing was really different. My old friends constantly posted about stupid things, complained over nothing and harassed people. I forgot why I was ever friends with them. I've grown apart from them and it had nothing to do with Keir. I was always the more mature one of the group.

I scrolled through my news feed, not really paying attention to the drama. I headed to my profile to change my profile picture. I couldn't help but smile at all the pictures of Keir and I. Some were dated four years ago.

Who would've thought that the man I ran into at the coffee shop, who became my best friend, would be the love of my life today.

I quickly changed my picture and headed to Keir's facebook. He checked his account more frequently. Right away I was met with a picture of us, a recent one from our hiking adventure a week ago. I smiled. Keir just loved taking pictures of us. Sometimes it was annoying, but it was sweet most of the time.

He didn't have many Facebook friends, it was mostly his family in Ireland, a few of my family members, and myself. He refused to add any of his coworkers, because of our relationship.

I logged out and returned the laptop back where I got it on the coffee table. I was bored, but didn't know what to do. I grabbed the remote off the couch cushion next to me and flipped on the television. I scrolled through the channels until a music channel caught my eye.

At a quarter to five Keir came dancing into the apartment. I giggled as he placed the pizza down on the table and grabbed me around the waist and twirled me around the room.

"Hi my love." He smiled as soon as the song ended.

"What's got you in sure a good mood?" I asked him.

"Nothing."

"I'm sure." I playfully rolled my eyes at him.

"You know I love you, right?"

"Yes." I nodded.

"And you know how we're getting married in a few months?"

"Yes. Keir what did you do?"

"I invited my mum to come here and help us."

"Okay." I shrugged. "Just her?"

"Yes my father's working and my brothers are too well you know how they are. I don't even think they planned their own weddings. I'm sure they just showed up." He laughed.

"When shall we be expecting your mother?"

"Next week sometime. She said she would call me before she boarded the plane."

I nodded my head and walked to the cabinet and took out two plates.

We sat and ate in silence. When we were finished I put the leftover pizza in the fridge and walked into the living room, where he sat. He looked at me as I wrapped the blanket around me again. "Are you cold?"

"I'm freezing."

He smirked. "Come here." I walked over and he pulled me down next to him. He pulled the blanket aside a little and slid in, wrapping his arms around me. "Better?" He asked.

"Much." I smiled kidding his cheek.

"I seen you used the laptop. See anything interesting?"

"Not really." I replied. "Oh Alexis is pregnant, again."

He snorted. "Figures. Who's the father this time?" I shrugged. I didn't know, nor did I care.
