The week past rather quickly and Friday came in the blink of an eye. I told Gemma to meet me in the parking lot after school.

I slowly gathered my things after class, so I could talk to Keir before I left.

"I'll keep watch outside the door." Lance whispered. I nodded my head in acknowledgment. He walked out of the room, leaving just Keir and I. I stood up and collected my things.

"Not surprised to see you stay after." He smirked watching me.

"Well I try my best to avoid the rush to get out of here."

"Are you sure that you just don't want to spend some alone time with the special guy in your life?"

"Nah. Lance is gone." I joked.

"Haha." He rolled his eyes playfully. "Now come over here and give me a kiss."

"Ah ah ah." I tisked. "Not very professional Mr. O'Connor."

"Get over here now." He laughed.

"Okay, but only because I have to go soon." I walked over to him and he wrapped his arms around me pulling me close.

"Can I come with you?"

"I'm sleeping over Gemma's."

"So? She can come to our place instead."

I pulled away and looked at him. He looked serious. I sighed. "You know that can't happen. We can't have someone else find out about us."

"But, but, but."

"No buts. We don't need to get into trouble." He stuck his bottom lip out and pouted. "Are you going to miss me? Is that why you want me to tell her?"

"Of course I'm going to miss you. You do realize I haven't slept alone in the bed since you moved in with me and it frightens me that when I turn to roll over, you wont be there. I can't hold you. I doubt I'll sleep."

"How about this. Any time you can't sleep, call me."

"What if you're sleeping?"

"I don't care. Call me and I'll talk to you. Maybe if you hear my voice you'll fall asleep."

"I can't believe it's come down to this."

"What? That's you're lonely without me?"

"Yes."

I held his face between my hands. "It just means that you love me too much to let me go."

"I do. I love you from the bottom of my heart."

I leaned forward and kissed his lips, but before he could turn it into a heavy make out session I pulled away. "I'll text you later."

I told him as I walked to the door. He nodded and took a seat in his desk chair. I left the room and joined Lance in the hall. We walked towards our lockers, where I dropped off the books I wouldn't need this weekend. We walked in silence out into the parking lot, where we met up with Gemma.

"See you later." Lance said before he walked off to his car.

"Ready to head over to my place?" Gemma asked. I smiled at her and unlocked my car.

"Yup. Got my things ready." I pointed to the bag in the back seat. She smiled happily and got into the car. I followed. "Need to stop anywhere before we go?" I asked.

"Nope." She shook her head. "I just want to go home. Take these stupid shoes off and eat something unhealthy." I laughed but agreed with her.
