I kept my head down as I entered the English classroom. I didn't want to look at him. I took a seat in my usual seat and looked out the window.

"Tell me about Cedric." Larry said taking the seat next to me.

"What do you want to know?" I asked. I couldn't actually tell him that Cedric was actually our English teacher, now could I?

"What's he look like. How old is he? The usual."

I laughed at his interest. "Well he has brown hair and blue eyes."

"Sounds hot already." He gushed.

"He's in his twenties." I paused to look at Keir for a second. "He's muscular."

"As in? He muscular like the hulk or more of a healthy muscular like he just takes good care of himself?"

I giggled. "Healthy muscular for sure." I paused. "Uhm he's got abs."

"A six pack?"

"Eight." I smirked.

"Yummy!" He swooned.

"Alright class." Keir spoke once the second bell rang.

I was glad school was over. On my way home I stopped at the grocery store to pick up some steak. I had suddenly got the craving for some. I decided I would make them for dinner. I didn't care how upset I was at Keir, I would still make him something to eat.

I walked into the empty apartment and put the steak in the fridge. I was in no hurry to cook. I put my bag down in the living room and rummaged though it looking for my homework. I pulled it out and got to work.

I finished in no time, since I understood what I was doing. I grabbed the laptop and logged on to my Facebook. I noticed I had a few friend requests from Brad, Larry, Gemma, and Lance. I smiled and accepted them all. I had nothing to hid, all the pictures of Keir and I were on his page and he never tagged me in any, just because of our situation.

Looking at the time I logged off the computer and put it back. I stood up and walked to the kitchen to begin cooking the steak.

I had my back to the door as I positioned the pan on the burner. I heard the door open and close, but I ignored it.

"Harper, baby. Can you look at me?" Keir asked softly.

"Nope." I said a little too immaturely. I heard him snicker. I turned around to snap at him, but my anger was washed away when I saw what was in his hand.

"I got these for you, as an apology." He said stepping forward and handing me the roses. "I should have just told you I was flying out to Ireland for Christmas."

"I don't care that you're leaving. I'm hurt that you didn't even plan to tell me you were going. What were you going to do? Just leave in the middle of the night?"

"I was going to tell you." He frowned.

"When Keir? When?"

"The day before I felt." He looked away.

"You're unbelievable." I hissed turning around to begin cooking the steaks.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know how to tell you I was leaving. Especially when you have to stay here."

"I don't care that I'm staying here. I really don't. It's not the first Christmas I spend alone, you know. And I'm certain it won't be the last one either." I turned to face him for a second to see his face fall and instant realization cross his face.

"I'm so sorry. I wasn't thinking."

"It's fine." I told him. "I'm use to it." I flashed him a quick smile and turned back to the burner.

I felt him hug me from behind. I leaned back into him. "I'm sorry. Let me cook tonight?"

"You sure?"

"If it means you won't be upset with me anymore. Then yeah."

"I'm not upset."

"You sound it."

"I'm hurt, not upset. Two different things." I told him stepping away. "If you want to cook go for it." I told him walking away.

Keir was heading to Ireland to spend Christmas with his parents. I was fine with that. But what I wasn't fine with was the fact that he didn't tell me that he was planning on going. If it hadn't been for me finding the plane tickets in the printer this morning, I would have never found out until last minute. I was use to spending the holidays alone so it didn't bother me to know that I wouldn't be going with him, but it hurt that he was going to keep this a secret right up until he left.
