If you're trying to break my heart
It's working cause you know...
Baekhyun has been waiting for his boyfriend's arrival for almost seven hours. He's standing in front of Chanyeol's house waiting and waiting. He doesn't even mind the fact that it's freezing cold and snowing hard.
They've been together for years now. They met when they both entered the university. They were blockmates and fell in love with one another. Chanyeol courted him for eight long months until one day he decided to give him his sweet 'yes'. That was the happiest day of their lives.
Like any other couples, Baekhyun and Chanyeol had their fair share of reckless fights and pointless arguments. It's part of the relationship, but they always make sure that at the end of the day all problems have been resolved.
They spent their first three years happily and then one day something changed.
Chanyeol changed.
Even though he tried to deny the fact that Chanyeol's been changing he still can't avoid reality. Lately, Chanyeol's been missing calls and messages that he sents. He's usually mad at him for no good reason.
And because he loves Chanyeol so much, he reasoned out everything and decided to just be more understanding because maybe Chanyeol is having a hard time regarding his work.
"Baekhyunnie..."
He looked at Chanyeol at was shocked to see a woman clicking onto his arm. The girl's beautiful.
He knew it. He really knew it. Even if he tried to be blind, in the end the truth still prevailed. Deep inside his heart, he always knew that Chanyeol will find a woman to be with.
What they had was an unconventional relationship. They were both men.
"Yeollie~ Ah, I just came here to give these gifts to you. I made these sweaters and gloves. And also I baked this cake. Hope you enjoy it." He said as he tried his best not to cry. He won't cry. Not in front of Chanyeol. He won't.
A tear escaped his eye.
"I-I'll g-go now..." And then he walked past Chanyeol and the girl. Tears streamed down his face like droplets of rain.
He knew this day would come, he prepared himself for this day. But why does it hurt so much still?
He started to run when he heard Chanyeol calling for his name.
"It hurts so much, Yeollie."

After seven weeks Chanyeol received a message from Jongin - his bestfriend.
"Chanyeol-ah, Baekhyun-hyung is gone. It was too late when we found out that he's suffering from a heart disease."
Tears rolled down his face and he felt his world crumbled down. His beloved Baekhyun, his bestfriend, his only family. Baekhyun...
He immediately went to Baekhyun's funeral and there he saw lying inside a white coffin. His face is peaceful. A smile plastered on his face.
"Chanyeol-ah..." He turned to look at Kyungsoo whose been crying. "Before he died he told me to give this to you..." And he handed Chanyeol a piece of white paper.

If you're reading this then it means that I'm dead. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you about my condition. I don't want to worry you because I know that you're busy with your work.
Are you happy now? With your new lover? I hope you are. It's all I ever wanted for you. I want you to be happy for as long as you live.
You know what Chanyeol-ah I always knew that you would leave me. I'm a guy and so are you. I know that you'll be finding a woman to spend the rest of your life. I always knew it. I prepared myself for that day but then seeing it with my very own eyes hurts me so much.
I told myself that I should just move on but I can't. You know why? It's because my heart solely belong to you. Only for you. I love you Chanyeol-ah.
A part of my heart tells me to fight for you but I know I wouldn't win. Never.
A part of my heart tells me that I should be the one happy inside your arms. But i know that I'm not that person that is meant for you.
That's not me. It isn't me. It wouldn't me.
