Lila watched Bam as he slept peacefully next to her. She loved to watch him sleep as it was the only time she felt his mind rested. He was a passionate man in everything he did for her and his family shouldering much of the responsibility to keep them safe and well. She carefully slipped out of bed and rummaged through their luggage finding his camera and just as he had so many times of her, she silently captured his dreamlike state on film. As she looked through the lense, she couldn't help but smile thinking back to the first time he fell asleep in her bed. The first time he fell asleep in her bed.....emotions flooded her as wave after wave of remembrances rushed over her. A dance, Matt, a shoe, her mother's hair comb, Bradley Kensington, dinner and him, always only him. Lila closed her eyes from the dizzying images that flashed through her mind like a PowerPoint presentation on steroids. She steadied herself against the table inhaling and exhaling deeply until the images slowed and she felt herself again. Lila felt a sense of peace come over her. As she looked at Joshua, the depth of her love at the very moment could not have been more true. He had romanced her from their first dance to their wedding day never giving up on her or his love for her. She didn't know how or why her memories can back in such a rush. She only knew that they did in a most unexpected way. Maybe it was the strong emotions generated by the excitement of the wedding or the anticipation of the honeymoon night that cleared the fog of her mind.

Lila placed the camera on the table and climbed back into bed with her husband. She moved closer to him and danced her fingers lightly over his chest. She traced the outline of his face with one finger as her eyes glassed over with quiet tears. She was loved deeper than she realized. As Bam began to stir, she buried her face into his chest and wrapped her leg over his torso. He pulled her tighter into him. "What's wrong Mrs. Brown?"

"Nothing is wrong, Joshua. Everything is just like it's supposed to be. I'm just where I was meant to be."
