Logan eventually left Rory's and headed over to Luke's to find the boys. His head was still swimming with the information that Rory had laid out for him. He found the three men wandering around the town square looking at the setup for a knitting event of some kind, puzzled and amused.

"Logan! Apparently they knit to raise money for community projects around here! How do you suppose that works?" Colin greeted him as he approached.

"Ah, yes. They get sponsored by the inch. Scarves, if I recall correctly." Logan smirked.

"Should we sign up?" Colin asked.

"Sign up? Can you knit?" Robert asked as he and Finn approached.

"I bet that there are any number of Sheila's that would teach us!" Finn responded enthusiastically.

"No knitting for us tomorrow. Or at least not for me. I'm heading back to Hartford tonight." Logan answered. He was smiling as he spoke.

Robert cocked his head quizzically. Logan was obviously in a good mood, but he was alone and heading back to the city without Rory. Some info was definitely missing. "How did it go with Reporter Girl?" Robert finally asked.

Colin and Finn nodded and looked eagerly at Logan waiting for his response.

"I guess I'd say good. We talked a lot. I understand a bit of why she's been acting the way she has. We are meeting in Hartford tomorrow to go to her first doctor appointment with her on/gyn." Logan elaborated.

"That's good, I guess. Why isn't she coming to Hartford with us?" Colin asked. Finn stood off to the side frowning.

"Well, we've decided to take our time on our relationship. We are putting the baby first. We cleared a lot of the air, but I'm still uneasy. I don't want to do anything that will screw up our raising the baby together. If I have to choose, it's the baby all the way. I need to be a dad first. So we have put our relationship on hold for a bit while we get comfortable around each other again." Logan went on. "Come on guys. I want to grab a cup of coffee for the road at Luke's."

Finn had been staring at Logan as he explained what had happened with Rory and did not look pleased. "Your off your head, mate." He finally pronounced with a shake of his head.

"Finn." Colin said warningly.

"No, Colin. It has to be said. You are going to wait and hope that you have a future with her, instead of actually taking the leap and asking for what you want. Why? What's the problem? You and Rory are made for each other! What's the problem?" Finn ranted.

"Well, for starters, none of your damn business, Finn!" Logan clipped back. "And secondly, what if it all falls apart again. Do you have any idea how many times Rory has backed out of a relationship with me? Why would I set myself up for that again? There are more than the two of us to consider here!"

"So you are going to dance around it? How does that work, Logan! You two are like moths to the flame to each other. It going to be inevitable that you two will end up in bed, again, and if you haven't decided to try for a relationship, it's going to blow up in your faces. Again!" Finn turned on his heel and started walking away across the square.

Logan watched him walking away and turned to the two men left with him. "Do either of you want to say anything?" He demanded.

Colin backed away a couple of steps with his hands chest height. "Logan, it's your life. I don't disagree with what Finn said, but you have a lot on your plate right now."

Logan nodded once and turned to Robert.

Robert remained silent for a long moment and then asked a question. "What did Rory say about putting things on hold?"

Logan was surprised but responded "She understood. She said she would wait for me to be ready for the next step."

"No, what exactly did she say? Her exact words, or as close to them as you can remember." Robert pressed.

Logan sighed. "She said when I was ready, she's all in." He said softly.

Robert nodded. "Okay. The only thing I'm going to say is this - don't wait too long to figure out what you want. The longer it takes, the smaller this window of opportunity gets." He then turned in the opposite direction of where Finn stormed off. "We'll grab the coffee and head back to the SUV. Finn just needs a few minutes to process. He had his heart set on you two getting back together tonight. He's not just your friend, he misses Rory more than you think. She is his only female friend, and she means a lot to him."

"You know, I'm not saying that Rory and I won't work out. But she keeps leaving me. By my count, this is the fifth time she's walked away from me. I've done everything I know to keep her in my life. But this is huge. I'm just not sure that I can handle her walking away again. And this time, being together will not just affect us. The baby needs consistency. And not to mention that I'm going to have to tell Odette soon. She's going to be pissed."
