Logan had the boys drop him off at Luke's and they carried on with the requested plans. He stopped in and was surprised that Luke wasn't there. He was ordering three large coffees to go when he heard his name from behind him. He turned around and was surprised to see Lane behind him.

"Lane! It's been forever!" Logan smiled. He stepped forward and put a hand on her arm and gave her a squeeze. "How are you? How are Zack and the boys?"

Lane was shocked that Logan was standing in the middle of the diner. She was amused that he had so easily not only recognized her, but remembered her husband and kids. Shock was winning out over the two competing emotions.
"What are you doing here? Are you here to see Rory?" Lane asked.

"I'm on my way over to her mom's to see her now. Just needed to bring the necessary provisions. " he gestured toward the take out coffees Caesar was loading into a cardboard caddy.

"Oh. Rory's back on coffee?" She asked.

"Rory?" Logan laughed "Of course. She can't survive without the stuff!"

Lane froze as she realized he had no idea that Rory couldn't stomach coffee at the moment. He had no idea.

"Okay, so, yeah. Great to see you. Be sure to tell Rory to drop by and see me when she has a minute." Lane began to back away.

Logan watched her retreat and shook his head. The townspeople of Stars Hollow never stopped amusing him.

He grabbed the coffee and headed out to walk to Lorelie's house. He was excited and nervous but in a great way. He couldn't believe that Rory had finally made a positive move toward reconciliation. He had been waiting for this moment for weeks, saying goodbye to her had taken almost more strength than he had, but he needed to let her go if that was what she had truly wanted. He was overwhelmed when she had reached out to him the day before.

He arrived on Lorelie's front porch and took a breath and raised his hand to knock when the door sprang open.

"Logan!" Rory beamed.

"Ace." Logan almost growled as he saw her. He reached for her instantly and with one arm drew her close. He leaned in to kiss her and it felt like coming home. He smiled into her lips as she kissed him back.

When they finally broke away, he rested his forehead against hers and Rory drew him closer. She smiled at him and said "You must be exhausted. Come in." She lead him by one hand into the foyer and he followed willingly.

"I brought coffee. Is Lorelie still home?" He asked as they entered.

"On my way out now!" Lorelie responded as she grabbed her purse and keys. "I'll leave you two to talk." She grabbed the offered coffee cup from Logan as she hurried out the door.

"Have a great day" Logan called behind her as she left. Rory closed and locked the door behind her mother and turned to lean against it, looking at Logan.

"I so glad you sent me that text, Ace." Logan's dimples flashed as he bounced on his feet.

"I'm so glad you came. I really didn't know how you would respond. I've missed you, Logan." Rory said quietly. "Why don't you come in. We should talk."

Logan offered his free hand again and they walked into the living room together. "So what changed your mind? I thought you were sure that you wanted to be alone?"

Rory took a deep breath. She sat down on the couch and waited for Logan to join her. "Turns out, I didn't come home alone. Logan, I have something very serious to tell you. I want you to take all the time you need to process this. You don't have to respond right away, I don't want you to feel pressured." Rory began.

"Ace, there is nothing you could say that would change my mind. I want you in my life, truly in my life. I don't want Vegas anymore. I want us together." Logan reassured her.

"Wait until you hear what I have to say." Rory closed her eyes and blurted out "I'm pregnant."

Logan felt like he was underwater for a moment. "You're ...." he whispered

"Pregnant. Yes. I know this is a huge shock. You probably want to take a minute to process. Or a week, whatever you need. Turns out our goodbye was really a new beginning." Rory said softly.

Logan stood up and shook his head. He felt like he couldn't catch his breath. Pregnant. "How far along?" He asked.

"Eight weeks. Since New Hampshire." Rory answered watching him closely.

"Ok. Yeah. How long have you known?" He continued.

"Almost two weeks. " Rory replied.

"So this was why you sent me that text?" He finally seemed to be coming out of his daze.

"Yes. I didn't realize until Mom pointed it out to me that I forgot the title to my pro/con list. Reasons to have Logan's baby." Rory smiled.

"You knew for two weeks?" Logan ran his hands through his hair, a sure sign that he was getting agitated.

"Yes. It caught me by surprise too. I needed a bit to process and decide what to do. Logan, I know that I have treated you horribly. I have been so self absorbed, I put my own wants ahead of you and your feelings for far too long. I know this is a bombshell here. I know it messes up all of your plans. But..." Rory was cut off by Logan.

"You think?" Logan yelled.

"Logan, I know it is a lot to take in. I'm not going anywhere. You can stay or go, it's up to you. I'll be here to talk when you are ready."

Logan stormed out. Rory sighed and lay back against the couch. She grabbed her cell phone out of her pocket and sent a quick text to her mother.
