Rory and her companions arrived at Christopher's condo complex. She walked inside and lead them to the elevator and jabbed the appropriate button to take them to the correct floor. Logan noticed the increasing nervous energy radiating off Rory and caught her eye in the reflection in the doors. She grimaced.

"I take it Chris doesn't know about your pregnancy yet?" Logan asked.

"No. Oddly enough tho, I came to see him first after I found out. I'm not sure why. I was sort of ... intrusive. I asked a bunch of questions about how he felt about how mom had handled things back in the day." Rory replied.

"How he felt?" Logan probed.

Rory sighed. "I actually asked him if he wished he hadn't know about me. How he felt about mom deciding to raise me on her own, moving away from Hartford with me."

"Oh." Logan replied. "Were you considering not telling me about the pregnancy? Is that why you..."

"At that point, I hadn't really processed anything at all. I had just found out and was ... I wasn't sure what I was going to do." Rory admitted.

"Do you need some privacy?" Odette asked quietly. "I don't want to intrude, but I worry that you both have forgotten that we are here."

Rory turned to look at Odette. She smiled. "Thank you, but no. It's very much your business to know these types of things. And there is no chance that the three stooges won't find out as well."

"I resemble that remark!" Finn cried. Robert shook his head sadly while Colin winced.

"Finn, that is such a bad joke!" Colin exclaimed.

Rory snickered as the elevator arrived at the correct floor. She lead the group to her fathers door and knocked.

The door flew open immediately. Chris took in the group of young adults before him with a surprised expression before collecting himself.

"Hi honey." He did giving Rory a kiss on the cheek. "Logan, good to see you again" he continued with an unasked question in his tone.

"Chris, its good to see you again. These are my friends, Colin, Finn and Robert. And this is Odette." Logan explained as Chris ushered everyone inside. He lead them to to living room and gestured for everyone to take a seat.

"Odette, you look familiar to me. Have we met?" Chris began.

Odette smiled charmingly. "I think not. I am sure I would remember."

Rory interjected "You probably recognize her from the photos in the paper. She and Logan announced their engagement in the fall."

Chris' brow instantly furrowed and he tried to mask his confusion. Finn finally spoke to try to break the tension.

"Mr. Gilmore..." he started.

"Finn, no. My dad is Christopher Hayden. Gilmore is my mom's name." Rory reminded him.

"Your dad is Christopher Hayden?" Robert exclaimed.

Rory and Chris exchanged amused looks before they both nodded.

"How did I not know this?" Robert muttered.

"It isn't a secret, but I don't advertise it. Yes, I'm Strom Hayden's oldest granddaughter." Rory confirmed.

"Wait - those Hayden's?" Colin asked.

" What Hayden's?" Odette asked.

"The we-own-half-of-Martha's Vineyard-Hayden's." Robert replied. He gave a low whistle.
